Myself and members of our Church (party of 7) went in Wednesday night March 23rd. The server was good and most all the food was great. My problem was that I ordered a combo of Catfish & Clams and my boyfriend commented that they over cook their clams. So the server had not left our table, I said to her to ask the cook to not over cook the clams she said ok. My clams were the worst I had ever eaten, they were very hard almost burnt. I got to enjoy a quarter of the order. Only the bigger strips of clams were edible. The server asked when I was done if I wanted a box. I said no that the clams were the worst I had ever had, they were over cooked. She said I will tell the manager..... I wasnt looking for free food, because everything else was great. But as a former restaurant manager I was looking for acknowledgement that "hey we messed up, even after you requested we not over cook. We are sorry." The month before 2 family members went in. One of them got pork chops the were not edible, hard as a rock. It was mentioned to the server who was getting the manager. Again the manager never came over. They got tired of waiting so they left and will never go back. Note to the owners or management: there are too many other options out there for dining out...how you handle customers is the key to survival. Youre the only place I know of in Columbia for catfish, but if my next visit is like this I will travel outside the county.

I am not sure where the above below diner ate, but it could not have been the Catfish Campus in Columbia, Tennessee??? I have lived in Columbia my whole life and I have been eating here since I was a little girl. I moved away for about seven years for college and work and my husband and I recently settled back here last year. We went to Catfish Campus last week fro the frist time in years and it was just as good if not better than I remembered it. The food is EXCELLENT!! The service is just like your at your moms or grandmothers house! The waitress was kind and we were never without drink or food. We are actually going back tonight to pick up food to go to bring down to my parents, that is why I was looking up the phone number. I saw the negative review and had to respond! Just remember, when you go to a restaurant called Catfish Campus and you are in Columbia, TN, do not expect The Ritz and 5 star dining....but do expect Good Food, Good Service, Clean restaurant even if it is a little old.... think going to Grandmothers for a catfish fry! Remember you are paying $7.95 for A LOT of food....not $27.95 for a 6 oz steak and ambiance.... Thanks and I hope you go there soon!!! :)

This was my family first time there since they moved.We all loved the food.My daughter plain hamburger was cold,and she wouldnt eat it.I gave her some of my fish.My son loved his grilled cheese.Usually he is picky with how the bread is fixed.He doesnt eat much meat.The waitress was great.The people across from us kept giving us stares and talking about us.I get my fiance is in work clothes for Harpeth towing,but it really started pissing me off.They kept watching every mood we made.They act like a one year old should sit like a perfect angel.My fiance spoke the truth about our expierence with the people across us.I was glad to leave thats how bad it was.Marsha is great.She knows my family

The service was horrible. the food wasnt that good and then was charged $3.50 more for an extra plate bc they said we shared a meal. (Which we didnt) I ordered appetizer and my friend ordered a meal. The owner said thats how they have done business for years and he wouldnt take the $3.50 off the bill. I had already signed before I noticed it. Do your self a favor and just go to captain Ds

Amazing experience!! I went there with my brother who is in from living in Brazil for the past 4 years and we were absolutely astonished with their customer service!! I went there with him not planning to eat and they brought me out a complimentary plate!! These are great people with great attitudes and amazing food! Definitely the best customer service Ive seen in a long time !

This was the 1st time I had eaten catfish ever and it was unbelievably delicious. I had heard mixed things about catfish but my server explain that there catfish is farm raised which is why it tasted so good! The atmosphere is welcoming, the restaurant is clean, and everyone there is friendly and helpful. Sits back-off the main road. Im so glad I found this place.

The owner came to our table and was the most gracious man. His wife came in later to wait tables because they got very busy. I loved the food and the atmosphere. Every server was there to help. I think everyone stopped by to fill it drinks at one time or another. Other restaurants could take some training tops on customer service from this wonderful family place!

Pros - Food is good. Great hushpuppies. Included ice cream tastes home made. Staff is friendly. Cons - Place sets back so far off the road its hard to spot. Theres no sign at the road, only on the building, so be aware. Could use a remodel - dated, old Greek theme from a previous restaurant there, worn flooring, etc. Come for the food, not the atmosphere.

Hands down the best fried Catfish in the area. The service is consistently great. I have been here several times and I cant think of single complaint. I recommend this place to friends and family all the time.

Had a great family get together. We had a Large party. They setup in the party room. Service was great. Food was excellent. The portions were a little small on the catfish.

Very pricey for the food we had. The meals are over $15 per person for a bunch of deep fried dull atmosphere. Be prepared to be the youngest person there if youre under 40.

The only Catfish that I will eat, The cleanest Restaurant in town, just ask the health inspector!!! Great Service and Awesome food. The best Hushpuppies anywhere!!!
