I dont even know where to start with this place..My employer and I went here for lunch and ordered the exact same thing..the rib platter..it was a special for $9.99 and we thought it was too good to be true and it was..all bone and very little and I mean very little meat..my food came out first, I finished and then his food came out 20 minutes later..very uncomfortable lunch with the employer watching me eat and then me watching him..lady said that she forgot his food..very odd lady..seemed to tell other customers what they should order after they already knew what they wanted..another thing was 2 rib platters at $9.99 each and 2 large drinks came out to $35!??? We both brought it up to each other after we sat down but he didnt want to ask why it was so much and he was the one that paid so I let it go..only good thing about this place was the potato salad..we definitely would not recommend this place to anybody and I will not be revisiting this establishment..

i eat there often and it is hit or miss when it is good it is great went aug the fourth at 630 or 7 pm and it was not so good got a pork tenderloin sandwich and potato and onion the sandwich was way to salty but the biggest disappointment was the potatoes normally they are made to order but they couldnt have been this time they were so soggy and had a fowl taste. noticed when owner is there it is great but not always when he is gone and as always the waitress was awesome

Dixie Outpost is a relatively new BBQ joint in the Tri-Cities area. Ive been five or six times and the BBQ has been delicious every time. The meat is moist and has a great smoky flavor. They have a number of different sauces including a mayonaise based Alabama White sauce. The fried pickles and potatoes and onions are great sides.

Foods great. Staff sucks. One older waitress who said she was the owners fiance talks so much you cant even order and when I finally had the chance to order she had to ask me 3 times to make sure she got it right. Then charged me $15 for a big sandwich and fries with a coke. Not coming back.

Amazing service from the staff. They were super friendly and helpful. The brisket plate was amazing with the fried pickles and Mac and cheese. Overall it was a great experience. We will definitely be back! Also, theres a bus for a dining room, which is pretty cool!

The service was great and the food was tasty. Would have liked a little more meat and the meat to be seasoned with more BBQ sauce. It was still a treasure of a find and I would definitely go back the next time I pass by the town.

My boyfriend and I love Ridgewood barbecue, but this restaurant is right up there with them. The employees are so nice and everything was delicious. Its worth trying them out and lets keep supporting our mom and pop restaurants.

Very friendly staff, place is unique, got to eat BBQ on a bus! Definitely a first. And the important part was the BBQ was delicious! Had the pulled pork sandwich and briscuit sandwich and both were tasty!
