Some friends wanted to bring in lunch today from a place I had never heard of called Southern Salads and Sandwich Co. I googled the restaurant and found their website. The first thing I noticed was that there werent any pictures of their food ...clue! I ordered the Roast Beef and it was by far the driest sandwich I have ever had ... no mayo, mustard or any other type of condiment on it. I was only able to get down half of it with the glass of tea I had and trashed the rest of it. Others in my others in my party ordered salads only to find that they were out the dressings they wanted. Not good to be out of dressings if your name is Southern Salads. I did see a few reviews online and most of them complained of poor service and or dry chicken salad and sides (I.e.; potato salad). I wont be back and would suggest looking elsewhere if you want a good sandwich.

we went to a place to eat tonight called "southern salads" There is one in Fort Mill north of Baxter and another in Rock Hill. We went to the one in Fort Mill where the girl behind the counter was awesome. Its "southern salads" not as in lettuce, but as in chicken, egg, ham, etc sammiches. We asked for a taste of one thing and she brought back 3. Gave us a first timers discount and offered more samples as we were eating. She totally doesnt belong working there, but made our visit well worth it. They were closing while we were eating and still offered more if we wanted. I asked her if she was one of the owners and she said she gets it all the time. I complemented her numerous times as she totally doesnt belong there, but her boss made a great hire. Well be back for sure and anyone in the area should make a visit.

This is a pretty good lunch place. Definitely not a bad experience, but not outstanding either. I had a good buffalo chicken wrap and a side of potato salad. They are known for their salads as in potato salad, chicken salad, etc. While potato salad is one of their specialities, I thought it was rather dry. The location here in Rock Hill is clean, but not spacious. The bathrooms are clean and roomy.

I have made this a weekly spot to have lunch! I really enjoy every item I have had there! The french dip was wonderful and the blackened chicken pasta was yummy. I even stop by after work to bring home chicken salad they make fresh daily. The place gets a little warm inside, but otherwise I would highly recommend them!

One of my favorite places..i eat here at least once a week..i have tried everything and never had any complaints...my fave is the chicken Philly with ranch dressing to dip...i wish they had fries with the burgers but maybe in the future hopefully ...i am going tonight and trying the French dip for once...im soo excited

Ordered my food over the phone, great customer service when I went to go pick it up. I got the wrap with no buffalo sauce and no tomatoes. When I went to go eat it, the chicken was very very dry and there were tomatoes in my wrap. I probably will return just to give it another try but I wont be getting the chicken.

Southern Salads is the BEST little sandwich shop in Rock Hill. Their food and service are excellent and their creamy chicken salad is off the chain. One of my favorite places to eat in Rock Hill and its small hometown business. Not a national chain. I love it! Im proud to say my family and I are regular customers!

Normally I live this place. Havent stopped by in a while. I normally get the large creamy chicken salad and other salads. Got the chicken salad today and noticed that they went up on the prices and it taste like they are using a different mayo. Im not sure but was disappointed today.

My FAVORITE lunch spot in Fort Mill. Chicken salad is amazing... Get the chicken salad club on a croissant and you wont be disappointed! The caramel apple cheesecake was out of this world! Chicken philly with a side of ranch is also amazing... Cant go wrong!

Wonderful food and very friendly staff. Had a small issue with an item being left out of an order through a third party delivery service and the manager solved the issue gratefully and quickly. Highly recommended! Also, best Reuben in town.
