UPDATE 6-28-17: Chef Adam and his team reached out to us first thing today. They are very nice, apologized and said they will continue to strive to be a great place to visit in Pawleys Island. Made reservations. We were seated directly outside the kitchen. Before we even entered the hostess area we were nearly run over by an employee. Bartender would not transfer our drinks to the table even though hostess said thats what would happen. Server never introduced herself, instead greeted us with water asking if "we had water as she didnt want to bring us two waters" referring to our drinks from the bar. She then walked away only to return 10 minutes later to take our order. After watching staff scrape plates into the trash for 15 mins we requested to be moved to a high top in the bar. Plates never cleared, left the food runners to do that, never offered another drink. Food was decent. I had the grilled Caesar with chicken, chicken was delicious and the dressing was great. My husband had the Mahi over Grits and it was tasty as well. The frustration here is the food was decent but the service was poor enough that we were embarrassed for them. Guys carrying out trash, wiping down tables and also serving bread...it was bad. I hope they get this worked out and get someone in to properly train the staff on restaurant etiquette. As my husband stated it would have been a 5 star experience if we had ordered take out.

Normally I dont write bad reviews... But Ive honestly not had this bad of service in a very long time. My husband and I are celebrating our honeymoon and also today is my birthday... So we thought we would try this place out. Our waitress seemed very... Off. Not sure if she was rude or on some kind of drugs? Either way, not friendly. She continued to disappear, drinks went unfilled... Never came to check back with us after we were clearly finished eating. Actually, another waitress came to clear our plates and box my food. My husband once again tried to get her attention and she walked right by. We thought we were never going to even get the check! The food was okay. Kind of overpriced for what we got. He was charged $2 extra dollars to switch out a side that on the menu was listed the same exact price. And did not like his food. I thought my dish was average. Ive had better for much cheaper. And for some reason the inside of the restaurant has a weird smell? We had to be moved outside because it was making me sick. Maybe if you get a better waitress/waiter you will have a better experience, because I saw others being very attentive to their tables. But we were not so lucky. Wont be back.

Our first experience at The Rustic Table was fantastic. We called ahead for priority seating but arrived to a wait of about 15 minutes. Without hesitation, the manager came out to the patio to apologize for our wait and asked us our preference on a complimentary appetizer that she would have delivered to our table. Minutes after being seated, the onion rings arrived just as she promised. My girlfriend and I split the Surf & Turf and, much to our surprise, the meal was delivered to our table having already been split into two beautiful presentations. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant. We will be back!

This is comfort food meets chef specialties. Country fried steak (CFS) vs seafood pesto pasta (SPP). CFS was flavorful and tender. Served with mashed potatoes and green beans a d sausage gravy. Outstanding. SPP had mussels clams and shrimp. Plenty of all three. Served over linguine and pesto sauce. Also outstanding. Service was superb. Angela was very attentive without being intrusive. Bus staff very professional. Owner can be very proud of every aspect of this restaurant. Glad Im a local so I can go back often.

One of my favorite restaurants in Pawleys. Adam is a chef which makes the food quality even better. They source food from local farms and businesses which is an even better approach to running your restaurant and really important to me. I havent had anything from here that I havent liked. The steak salad and she crab soup are my go-to choices. The clam appetizer is really good. The comfy is my husbands favorite. Comfort food at its finest! You cant go wrong here.

Excellent food! We visited while on vacation, and our family of 5 adults, 2 tweens, and a toddler was seated at a pair of bartop tables in the bar area. It wasnt an ideal location, being right by the entrance, but it was preferable to sitting outdoors in the heat... though the outdoor seating looked nice. Our food was creative and very tasty! One of us had the shrimp and grits and said it was one of his top three! Id definitely recommend eating here.

Enjoyed the first couple of times, but they dont charge the main menu and rely on the specials all the time. Service at lunch was great one day, but service at dinner wasnt too be desired. My wife and I went there with another couple, her dinner was given to another table by mistake. They then ran out of what she wanted, they apologized but didnt compensate for the mistake.

Great wait staff and very accommodating for groups. Food, not really that great, especially for the price. Shrimp and Grits is their "specialty", but the shrimp was over cooked. Also it was salty and overpowered by the sausage that came with it. Good beer selection and a pretty concise menu with decent specials. The portions are massive so come hungry.

Great steak, would have liked to be told all my sides would be mixed together ! I didnt like pinto beans, collards, beets, and mashed potatoes, all mixed without asking or being told ahead of time ! The portions were big, and everyone else were extremely happy with their food. Also our waitress was great ! Will definitely come back ! Thanks !

Tried this place recently while visiting from out of state. We had lunch in the outdoor seating section. The heirloom tomato sandwich special was absolutely delicious, if a little messy. Staff was pleasant and informative. Chef and management both came out to chat with and check on guests. Very pleasant experience. Moderately priced.

We were surprised at how good this place was. We ate outside because they were busier than we expected, but that was okay because there was a nice breeze in the air. The service was great, and the food was really good. We will definitely make this a regular place to eat when we visit Pawleys Island each year!

I travel a lot and this is one of the best meals Ive had in a long time. This restaurant would not be out of place in a large metropolitan area and its farm to table philosophy shows in the quality of meals served.

Great relaxed atmosphere and good food. Not the typical tourist trap restaurant that seem to be everywhere in this area. In had the blacken Mahi over grits and it was perfect as was my wifes shrimp and grits.
