This used to be my favorite takeout place, of probably all time, and I highly recommended them to all my friends. However, once it was sold and the new owners have taken over Im starting to become rather dissatisfied. They tried to switch up the boxes to cheaper ones (disaster since they leaked all over the place), and they changed their spring rolls (which were really good) to some cheaper (Im guessing) cabbage filled things. Last time I got the Basil beef and Cashew nut chicken. The beef was full of sauce, but not much beef and nearly all the cashews were burnt, and I mean like so completely burnt so bad they smelled. Calling and complaining yielded no results other than "sorry" and I was told they purchase the nuts (cheaper supplier=burnt nuts now?) but even so why would you use cashews that are nearly black in your food???? Really seems to have gone downhill with the new owners. Im struggling to find times that I dont have something to complain about now, and this NEVER happened with the previous owner. Will give them a couple more tries, but then Im done. Will update this review if they redeem themselves in the near future.

Have been going here for over three years and had been fully satisfied until lately. Apparently theyve changed ownership and/or management and its been downhill ever since. Our last two orders have been messed up in some way. Today they didnt put our rice in and we had to drive all the way back up there. There were inedible parts in both the dishes, the sesame chicken is obviously lower quality than it used to be. Its now more on par with the super cheap Chinese restaurants but cost 3x as much. Had to spit out half the chicken. They charged us to substitute lomein for rice (which I understand and dont mind) but then barely gave us any. And by that I mean their smallest to go container only filled halfway. No customer service, no apologies, no attempt to keep our business. Im embarrassed Ive recommended this place and will not be going back.

I wish there was an option for ZERO STARS. Prior to the change in management in February, the former "new Asian flavor" was incredible. Now- you pay 25% more for food I wouldnt feed a dog. Runny, tasteless, almost meatless curry. This was our third and final order: they messed up what we ordered, I called and was told by the manager who I assume is the owner, that I would have to bring the food back if I wanted a refund. So I did- drove the bag of nasty food back to that man and received my refund. I am DISGUSTED by the lack of service and quality of food. I feel bad for the women working that miserably hot kitchen. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. They are doing a great disgrace to the name of this formerly amazing take out restaurant.

I guess this just switched management or ownership, and it shows. Our Thai basil and chicken and broccoli dishes were hilariously empty - like, they basically looked like a vegetable soup with a few pieces of chicken sprinkled in. We called and asked for another since we werent satisfied, and we drove back to find another disgraceful serving that was given to us by a half-assed, even slightly rude cashier. Im really upset, because this place was excellent, but I just cant recommend it under the new management.

By far the best Asian take out and delivery in Charleston. Authentic and really fast. Excellent pork fried rice. The review by "Leslie Hutson" is horribly inaccurate. This restaurant even offered to prepare a large order for us on Christmas night. We called a few days ahead to ask if theyd be open, and they offered to stay open to prepare Christmas dinner for us. Great staff and excellent Asian take out.

Best Thai delivery in town. Maybe the only thai delivery in town. Weve ordered from them for years. SOOOOO good. The Tom Kha Gai soup with shrimp is addictive. The Pad Se Eu is probably my favorite. Green Curry and Spicy Basil are also really good. I highly recommend this place for delivery, if you are getting out and about, go to Basil with the rest of the hipster 40-something crowd.

I would first like to say my experience was like being captured by communist northvietam these horrible owners dont even give the 5 dollars they charge for a delivery free to there drivers...they pocket it and use these slave like tactics to deliver your food I dont personally feel right supporting slavery so I will never ever support communists.

Picked up take out. The mushu pork was half empty and was mostly broth, not even sauce! The soup was also only 2/3 full and was too salty to eat. Sweet and sour sauce was also much too runny and not the right flavor at all. The fried rice was okay, but they forgot to give us the steamed rice we wanted. First and last time going there.

Awesome Thai and Chinese food! Good prices, good quality, fast delivery, pleasant employees and overall a great experience. I have only had delivery, so I have no idea what the inside of the restaurant looks like, but everything I have had so far is tasty. I definitely recommend since Mt. Pleasant has very little delivery options!

I watched the cashier go from handling money, to taking a handful of shrimp out the freezer and putting them into the microwave, and also placing a spring roll into its sleeve, all WITHOUT WEARING ANY GLOVES. I thought the food was pretty good until I recognized this unsanitary practice. Havent been back and will not go back.

Asian Flavor has the best Thai food in Mt. Pleasant hands down. The Pad Thai, curry and shrimp fried rice is to die for. All the flavoring is authentic Thai no powders all made from scratch. This is our new take out place! Service is great! Great job to Belle and family. Food is great and price is even better!!!

Great service, Their food tastes vastly superior to any of the regular Chinese places here. You can tell they cook with better quality ingredients. Thai dishes are all awesome and the chef specials are great. If you like it spicy always ask for it slightly extra spicy they always get it just right!!!

I dont know why people are saying this place is good this is my second time eating here and the first one was kind of bad you know and I thought it was bc it took Lil bit longer to pick it up I decided to try it again for delivery and the wings I got tasted like couple days old the rice even worse.

We have been going here for the past five years, and we always enjoy it. Theyve recently gone under new management, and the chicken fried rice we ordered from there was some of the best chicken fried rice weve ever had. Looking forward to continuing to make this our go to Asian food restaurant!

Mustve had an off night that particular night, because normally their food is excellent! Anyway, my chicken fried rice was way too salty. Arent they supposed to do a taste test first? I still give them 5 stars, because Ive never had an issue with their food until last Friday evening...

Food is awesome! New owner are so pleasant and family friendly too. Ive been here every week since it was taken over, much more pleasant experience. So glad the old owners daughter is no longer there. She put false reviews under different names when it was sold. Try the food yourself.
