When I first visited the shop it seemed like a small quiet and cute bakery. When I went inside, it smelled great. It had been my mothers birthday and all she wanted was a slice of strawberry pie. I requested that one be made for later in the week and the woman was brash and rude and said she "isnt making any strawberry pie this week". Also one morning I showed up to buy donuts and the shop claims it opens at 7 and we waited for 10 minutes till the person opened the shop. Once inside, I bought two donuts both of which she put on a plate with her bare hands. I personally work in the food industry and I find that highly disgusting. The donuts ended up being ok, but a little dry. I would not recommend.

Went there pretty early in the morning..there was a long line going out the door and one of the lady workers yelled at the man in line to shut the door. I thought that was pretty rude and then I ordered a brownie... the one displayed was huge so I figured the price wasnt TOO bad. But then the one they handed me was about 1/5 of the size of the one displayed. It seems like every time I go in there the workers are unwelcoming and annoyed you even went in there.

Ive been wanting to try this place for sometime and finally did. Was not happy with the smell of the place! Like dog food or something. Visited about 2-3pm and was disappointed by the lack of bakery items. Decided on a cookie and it was very dry and crumbly. Dark brown, but not a lot of chocolate taste. Nice lady that worked there, but couldve been more friendly.

Was handed a cold pre-made breakfast sandwich and had to ask for it to be warmed up. Them when asked the server picked it up with her hands. I also noticed her picking up donuts and bagels without any utensils as well. Was kind of grossed out at this point. Would not recommend. Java Jos is much better and fresh made sandwiches without the hands.

Just to be clear, this post is about the Eapresso machine and service. I must have just odd timing! This is the second August in a row I stopped by for a Cappuccino and the wand was broken! So close, yet so far away! The day they ever fix it, they should have a neon sign for people to come! It just seems weird going into a bakery without a Cap!

This place was amazing!!! My husband and I have been coming here now for 4 years. The pastry chef is from France and bakes daily in small batches. The pastries and pies are always very fresh and use high quality ingredients. We went everyday for 4 days straight and cant wait to go back this fall!

Used to visit the bakery here when it was under different ownership years ago. It was nice to see that it has changed but it is still wonderful, maybe better! The glass case of freshly baked goods at 8 in the morning is a sight to behold, a work of art! A nice assortment and a special taste!

Absolutely wonderful bakery! The best coffee on the island ☕️ Lovely tarts, wedding kiss cookies and chocolate covered orange slices! The handsome French gentleman with the blue eyes and lovely smile behind the counter adds to the charm of this delicious establishment.

Great breakfast here on our last trip, bread pudding was delectable. Others in the group had donuts, pie and pastries and we were all happy with pur selections. Nice range of choices and in/out door seating was nice.

This is by far one of the islands best kept secrets. It is a small french bakery and breakfast seems to be their specialty. Their pastries are DIVINE! They also serve good coffee.

Its fine. They have a decent selection of average pastries and coffee. The quality was fine but the location is great.
