I gave them a 2 because at least they discounted my meal and when asked the sushi chef for no octopus in my his choice 15 piece sashimi dish, he agreed. But not what I was looking for. I ordered a seaweed salad and 15 piece sashimi plate, chef choice. First it was the seaweed salad. The first bite seemed to be warm and bit off. Second bite tasted like a bit into pound scum, mud!!! I let the waiter now and told him I did not want him to replace it. Excited about the sashimi I moved on to my miso soup. It is good but then I feel course in my mouth. I pulled out a 8 inch hair. Lite in color. I ask the waiter to take that away. The manager comes to my table and expressed his apology but proceeded to tell me he did not know how that got there they all have dark hair. BTW, I am blonde and not to mention there are a couple of lite haired waitresses running around here. I told him I did not appreciate his explanation, that is not my hair. He then back tracked that comment. The salad he said came in bags, maybe they need to wash it better or watch the experation date. Also, the sashimi, it was OK!! Nothing special , OK. I tipped the waiter to what the bill should have been and told him thank you, he is a nice young man.

Cook was great and food was. However I have been here multiple times and have had good service, except for whenever I have a server by the name of Jerry. This is not the first time I have had problems with the same server. I kept coming back in case it had maybe been an off time the last few time. Last night me and my girlfriend ordered the chicken and ribeye, with not veggies, extra rice. After taking our order, he took the next couple at the same table order, and then came back to us and asked if we wanted to do the early bird special, and I said yes, but would we still be able to do the no veggies extra rice, he said yes. When the cook read the order out, nothing was said about the extra rice, so I know it wasnt written down. He was hardly at the table at all, one lady at our table had to flag down another server to just get a knife. He didnt seem to have any enthusiasm or joy in his voice or demeanor, he seemed like he did not want to be there at all. I will not come to this location again, on the off chance of having him as my server. The rest of the staff is great, but one employee can bring all of that down the drain.

Terrible experience. Explicitly told the hostess my family and I wanted to sit at a regular table, not the hibachi table, multiple times. There were only two tables and two hibachi tables occupied when we came in, yet we were still given a pager and told it would be a 15 minute wait. Our pager finally buzzes, and the hostess proceeds to direct us to the hibachi tables. Once that fiasco is once agains straightened out, it took over and hour and a half to receive our food. Our waiter did not seem to care one bit, and never informed us that there would be anything out of the ordinary. We flagged him down and he told us there was only one cook on and they were "busy," though there were still more than half of the tables open. He never apologized and said "Well that table over there has already been waiting over an hour" when we asked him where our food was. RUDE! My daughter got her sushi, and it took another 45 minutes for us to receive our food. Will never ever return. Poor service.

I have visited Fusion twice. The first time was really good. My wife and I were fortunate to sit at the table by ourselves for her birthday. The second time was not to pleasant at first. We waited for about 25 mins at the hibachi table before any food was brought out to us (you start with the soup, salad, and then the entree). Im not sure why this happened, but I suspect it might have had something to do with the other couple who sat at the table too and requested a specific chef ("no not that one" was what we heard twice when the assigned chef was about to approach our table). But the food was delicious and made us forget about the slow, hungry start to the night. Try the ginger vinaigrette on your salad, and the ginger and white sauce dips with the food.

Went to Wasabi on Friday evening Feb 22,2013. We had a group of some 8 people. It took about 30 minutes after our reservation time to be seated which we did not mind. The issue came some 1 hour later when we had to ask if they were short on cooks. Our server acknowledged that they were....but we were NEVER informed. I then ask for our check for the soup, salad and drinks that we had. Now, we had been there over 1 1/2 hours and they still charged me for the drinks and salad. We went to Wasabi at least once a month as a group but after last night that will be the LAST money we ever waste in that place. Had they at least had the courtesy of keeping us informed as to what was going on, I would not have has a issue. NEVER AGAIN.

The food was decent, at best. But it was not good enough to make up for the horrible service.. First off, we had our waitress argue over who would serve us, right in front of our faces. You would think if youre going to fight over us, you could at least provide exceptional service.. But no, we then go onto wait 35 mins for our sushi which I ordered in hopes of eating quick because I was of course starving. Next we notice that there were only 2 cooks working while there was every single table filled.. So after waiting 35 mins for my sushi , I then had to wait 45 mins for my chef, which wasnt even that entertaining.. Just an all around bad experience.

I have been several times since its been fusion , worst management and services ever. First of buy one get one 50% off was a complete scam , it ended up being more expensive. Found bugs in my ice cream . Peter lai never called me back after speaking with him and his management under him was rude too. I was told I put the bugs in my food . Havent been back nor has my family and we use to go in the in large groups spending nothing less than $300 not ever again. Find a new place and wait for them to go out of business and a new Japanese place come. I will not support any company who does not care about there customers especially reoccurring.

Our chef was very entertaining and he prepared the food well. We were there celebrating my mother-in-laws birthday, and they made it special for her. Everyone in our party liked the way Fusion stays open all day on Sundays, and also how they prepared their hibachi chicken compared to the other Japanese grills. My only complaint was it took them too long to get started with taking our orders and bringing out the salads. It wasnt that busy at the time we arrived. The chef had to get onto staff for not having his cart fully stocked with necessary supplies. Other than that I give it a thumbs up!!!
