I stopped here on my way from Myrtle Beach to Atlanta based on a Google search and the reviews. The food was delicious and the owner greeted me warmly. I came in around 1:30pm and I was the only one there for a few minutes, then three other couples and another guy came in by the time I was done. I had some nigiri and a spicy tuna hand roll as an appetizer. The hand roll was great, the other sushi was very good, just a bit too much rice IMO. I got the scallop basil lunch special - Thai hot. I love spicy food and normally Thai places wont serve it really spicy if youre not native to the cuisine. I was impressed with the dish, it was very tasty and had just the right spice. The scallops were bay scallops but still good. The value was OK, but I was more impressed with the food. The decor is nicely done for a small, low-key place. This is a great find - as good or better than the four Thai restaurants near my ATL neighborhood - I will eat here again on my travels.

Authentic Thai food! Finally Florence is being slowly dragged into the mid 1990s! The door is awesome. The service is good. Small and quaint. Reminds me of places I frequented in larger cities like Charlotte, Atlanta and Greensboro. A little on the pricey side, but worth it. Would be nice if they had a "appetizer, soup, entre" combo option for lunch like many others I have been to elsewhere. I easily spend $25 for lunch because they dont. Very good menu however. Not everything is spicy which is a misconception people have about Thai food. However if you do like spicy, this is your place. The Sushi is very good as well. The decor is very basic, almost Diner like. Dont go for the atmosphere, but definitely go for the food!

No one seems to know what happened to Thai House 1. Unfortunately, this is the only real Thai option in Florence following the passing of Anne and her kitchen on Cashua. The food here is typically quite good, I visited here many times and never had a bad meal. Better Thai is available in Hartsville at Bow Thai, but that is 30 minutes away. Rating is dropped a star, though, due to the loud Asian pop music videos that are often playing when you are trying to have a conversation, and due to the owners thinly disguised exasperation when customers pay with credit cards. He should really post a cash-only sign and I then think people would be OK. The loud sighs every time I paid with a card got old.

eat there every time we pass through. great place to have a late lunch or early supper on the way to the beach. food is real, but staff can prepare for 1st time to lifetime taste. You wont get any closer to authentic Thai than here except for a 5 star Thai Restaurant in Bangkok - plus you wont need to endure a 23 hour flight with customs check. GREAT FOOD, GREAT STAFF, and plenty of COLD COOLING WATER!!! - dining out just doesnt get any better than that. just a little over 1 hour drive to Myrtle Beach, quiet family atmosphere and it beats fast food cardboard anytime.

While the location is in a great spot, the food and service could improve. The sushi lacked in diversity for the price. I could also tell some of the sashimi was not fresh and probably a couple of days old. As a sushi lover I would recommend that they develop some better sushi specials and only use a fresh supply. Other than that I am sure that the other cuisine and food his good based on reviews.

This was the worst sushi restaurant Ive ever been to, the sushi was the size of a dime, forgot my order on top of it left hungry after waiting over and hour to place an order that never came, worst service ever, I will not be back or recommended this establishment. Go Anywhere else, seriously.

Eat here often and the curries are delicious! The fried tofu is bland but the spring rolls are amazing. Only one problem. ....when the scallops were too fishy tasting they still made us pay for them but did give us half off a replacement meal. Still....1699 for food we couldnt eat.

Chintzy is the word. Small portions for the price, otherwise acceptable if not unexceptional flavors. The chintziness extends to the interior, the plates, the general feel. If they filled you up with tasty food for a fair price, much of the rest would be handwaveable...

Authentic Thai cuisine and extensive menu. The food is good and prepared well. Fresh mint, cilantro and lime are used for pungent Thai flavoring. I usually ask for 3 level of chili heat but most in this area eat with 0 heat and still find the food delicious.
