Normally I go there once a month because I love Korean food. Every since I visited Korea for a year I developed a liking to there food and cultural ways. Taste wise the food is decently and its the closet thing I will get to Korean food unless I make it myself. What I did not like is that I have a egg allergy, and I ordered something that was not suppoded to contain eggs according to the food description. There was not even a egg allergy warning for the mean I wanted, unlike other items that had eggs listed as the main ingredient. It was K4 I believe, spicy Bulgogi. I get it no refund allowed, but how are you to going to force someone to pay for a meal that they didnt order. I didnt order eggs with my order and she tried to force me to eat something I was allergic to. Then said switch with my friend and I told her I want my food, I dont mind my food it just cant have scrabled eggs in it. I am allergic. She still was forcing me to pay for the egg meal and my food that I wanted to order new. Since I didnt pay yet I said no thank you my friend and I will like to leave. You cant leave, and my friend and I was locked in the restaurant. And she threaten to call the cops. The whole time shes yelling at me and Im still being nice to her. I just cant eat something with eggs as the main ingredient. So she said dont worry I call the cops, and I told her dont worry, I wait right here, and plus call the cops for you because I am not buying nor eating something that I am allergic to. This whole one sided episode lasted 15min, in the end the man I am assuming her husband apologized and said I can leave. I would of still payed for my friend meal but since the lady was so Irate, we just left with out even touching any of the food. So do I recommend this place. No, at least not if you used to eating real home made Korean food. But the food is good enough for the convince of having someone else make it for you.

This was a pleasant find for this small city: table side korean bbq! Its a great way to relax and enjoy a new experience. Unfortunately the owner/waitress was a little overwhelmed and not super helpful to us beginners. We were seated promptly but without menus. After a little while we just went to get our own and not even a minute later the waitress told us she needed to get our order NOW because she had no idea when she would be able to get to us next. Part considerate, part stressful, but oh well... She quickly pointed to the pictures and said pick 2! and so we did. She brought us the raw meat and side dishes in record time (high points here!) and we got cookin. Overall the food was superb. One of the BEST korean food Ive had. The guest relations left something to be desired but meh.. Id go back there in a heartbeat!

Went to this place few days ago based on the reviews ,but was a little dissappointed. The "on-table Grill" which is the attraction of korean restaurant had a condition ,since there were 3 of us we had to order a minimum of 3 BBQ dishes in order to be placed on to the "on table Grill". One of us was not a pork eater so we were not even allowed on the grill. We ordered two BBQs ,the waiter was not rude but also not cheerful. I dont remember he ever smiled . For the 1 hour time we spent there we were asked if we needed any thing only once. I hope and wish that this is not their typical way of dealing with customers. I have not visited any other korean restaurants in columbia yet...but certainly not one of the best that i have been to.

Having been stationed in Korea I loved the Korean food. This place comes the closest from bibimbap to even "neck bone" Those stationed in Yongsan know what Im talking about! The server isnt too friendly and by what I mean friendly is by our standards. He doesnt talk much or smile really but he does check on us every like 10 mins and asks us if we need anything but thats just korean tradition thats how they are. Every course comes with steamed rice and a variety of appetizers to include the infamous kimchi and it tastes great! (Got accustomed to it while in Korea lol) I really love this place and come here every chance I get! Price isnt too bad to me it is kinda pricy but it isnt common food. i truly recommend this place to anyone!

Let me start by saying Ive traveled all over the US and I usually seek out Korean food in the places I visit. This place just ranked in my top 5 places, which includes Queens NY, Fort Lee Nj, and California.... I only had the Man du (fried dumplings) and Dae Ji Bulgogi (spicy pork), but I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. The Man du were avg but the pork stole the show. The pork was perfectly seasoned and so tender. The side dishes were plentiful and tasted great too. I love that they gave me lettuce to make wraps, definitely the way to go with the spicy pork!

Good bbq! I have been to dozens of kbbq places in LA and NY but none has flavor like hero. The meat here seems to be more tender and so much more flavorful! We will be regulars if we decide to stay. Its a bit on the pricy side but when your from LA then you know in order to get good kbbq its around that price. I have tried other items like the gamjatang and they were really good also. The broth has rich flavor. You can tell the difference between the powder "broth" than the real stuff when you come here for soups. The service is not bad. Average just like any other restaurant.

Atmosphere is really nice. Nice set-up, tables, etc. Out of all the Korean restaurants Ive been to in Columbia, physically its the nicest and most upscale. Most of the menu though is actually Japanese food with a small selection in the back for Korean food. Im half Korean so the Korean menu is what I desire and for me, it just doesnt deliver. The food is okay - not bad but not great. Pricing is so-so as well. They have a decent lunch box menu w/ both Japanese and Korean options so if youre looking for a fairly inexpensive lunch date, I would recommend this place.

We came here to celebrate my sons 16th birthday. We absolutely LOVE Korean food! We just recently moved here, so we needed to find a good restaurant. Although it was somewhat pricey...they did not disappoint!! It was WELL WORTH it! We wanted our sons (both in highschool) to experience authentic Korean food. We each got different types of meat and with a small grill in the middle of the table, we cooked it ourselves to our liking. We also had an array of sides to eat. A very memorable day for our family. Two thumbs!

The food was good but the service was not. We were seated before a Korean family and they received all their food and refills before we even got our drinks. We had done this in Koreatown in New York and loved it but were very dissolutioned when we had to get three pricey portions to be seated at the grill. The waitress was rude and expected a tip. Had been there for lunch before and it was great. The waitress then was very affable then.
