This location is crazy busy on the weekend, especially during the farmers market, but on the whole a decent place to grab a cup of joe. I ordered the honey vanilla latte, made with their house-made syrup, which did turn out to be too sweet for me. But hey, some people like their really sweet coffee. I was disappointed with the sluggish service and the difficult nature of getting in and out on the weekend, (when the other businesses in the complex are closed all the doors are locked so you have to enter and exit through Drip). And last, I payed for a 16oZ drink, but was very disappointed to be handed a cup easily a half inch empty, with about 13 or 14 ounces of mostly tasty beverage....this is a big no no as the customer pays for what they want and are expecting that! So make sure you make it happen! Ill be trying many other coffee shops before I come back to this one.

I come to Drip on Main st. and Five Pts. regularly for a reason. Im a coffee snob and its pretty hard to please me but they go above and beyond. Their pour over is incredibly rich. The food is fresh, organic, made behind the counter. They have wine/beer, good juices/etc. The service is always charismatic, great people and the atmosphere makes me want to stay for hours. Come here!!

Ive been meaning to write a review for quite some time now. I stop here every morning before work and sometimes during the day for a second cup. The atmosphere and staff are incredibly welcoming and despite how busy it gets in the morning, they always welcome clients by name and usually with a bright smile. And the coffee is great as well. lol

NUTELLA explosion, the Nutella French toast is soooo delicious, you gotta try it... Vegetarians opinion: Im not a fan of French toast because its so eggy (I know thats how its supposed to be) but this one I swear... Oh so good! Everyone loves this place for a reason.

Its eclectic in the best way. The staff knows and loves their regulars. Fancy sandwiches and panini with yummy cheeses and fresh ingredients. Good breakfast and brunch options. Great coffee! If youre feeling adventurous, you must try the Root Beer Vader.

By far my favorite spot in Columbia, SC. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and the feel of the place reminds me of my hometown, Minneapolis (urban/chic/punk/grounded). Menu is fantastic, and I have yet to have an iced Mocha better than Drips.
