I only visit this "Starbucks" location when I cannot get a hot caffeinated beverage at home or anywhere else conveniently. The reason for my reluctance is due to several factors. One, is the service. While no one has ever been outright rude to me, I have been made to feel like my simple order of a black coffee is the greatest burden of all time. (Speaking of which, Im not a fan of how the brewed drip coffee from this location is kept in large, insulated beverage dispensers. Do they not have the ability/room to brew their own coffee here? Some coffee Ive been served hasnt been fresh in the slightest.) One employee in particular is hyper-apathetic. Ive had bad food service jobs too, friend, but at least I made an effort to show some sort of human emotions and traits other than breathing and walking (my sincere apologies if this lack of emotion is due to mental handicap). Two, see previous comment about the coffees lack of freshness. Three, the condiments station is ALWAYS out of something when I visit and typically looks like a kindergarten class just got done using the area for recess. I know its a bit off putting to complain about a luxury such as Starbucks, but come on. At least try!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The service here is terrible. They are always out of something, no milk, no brown sugar, no enthusiasm. If you enter the store and see more than 2 people on the queue you may as well not even bother, you will be there all day. If these servers worked in the "big city" they wouldnt last a minute. It can seriously take 10 minutes to get a mediocre cappuccino excluding the wait in the line. Dont go here if you have other plans for the day..

Not sure why there is so many negative reviews for this star bucks. I went in the morning when it was probably at its busiest time, the service was still fast and the food and coffee was even better. The negative reviews even sound like isolated incidents anyways. Someone complained about making their drink with soy and poisening them... how is an employee going to know you are allergic to soy? Anyways, its a good place for coffee and breakfast sandwhiches.

The service here is absolutely horrible. After almost POSIONING me by making me a drink with all soy, the male African American barista is continuously short and rude and makes horrible coffee. We give our money to you over and over again because we like the company and having an employee like this in a Starbucks is a shame on the Harris teeter and Starbucks as a whole.
