I adore this place! Ive been recommending it to friends and co-workers and they seem to like it as much as I do. I went in again today and I hadnt been in several months. It was really busy in mid-afternoon. Really gratifying to see. Coffee is excellent and the food is passable. I think they get their croissants from Normandy farms and they burn theirs. I know it says Normandy (as in Normandy France) farms on the door to that place but they have no clue how to bake a croissant. But back to Classic Coffee. The service is great and friendly and I really like the idea of the outdoor seating for a coffee spot. So CC you are on the right path but maybe ditch that vendor. Croissants are supposed to be light golden brown, not the dark brown color of ear wax.

This place roasts their own coffee in a Diedrich drum roaster, right there in the shop. Its really good! Their coffee is far better than the local Charleston Coffee Roasters--just to give you a reference point. I had a dark roast, which could have been pushed a little more, but the lighter single origin coffees and blends theyve served have been on par with every other local roaster (King Bean, Cup, etc) and even approaching some to the regional badasses (e.g. Counter Culture). Great folks in their too, I think one of the baristas was chillin in pajamas. Pretty laid back place, easy parking. Great interior.

Let me start off by saying I dont usually drink coffee but today I decided I needed some brown caffeinated gasolina goodness for my soul so I mozied on over to Classic Coffee Roasters. Since I dont drink coffee often I never know how/what to order so I picked the most dessert sounding beverage, the caramel cafe macchiato. Im not even sure what those words mean but lemme just say, Yaasss Queen! So yum. So good. I am currently riding a caffeinated sugar high and I am wondering why I dont drink coffee more often. Thank you Classic Coffee Roasters for your delicious liquid gold.

I really like Classic Coffee. The place is pretty big inside, which isnt what youd expect from outside. Its very cozy and you can get work done at one of the tables. They also have couches that you can sit and chat. My favorite drink is the vanilla latte. The only thing Id suggest is to have a wider selection of baked goods. Other than that I love Classic Coffee; Ive recently (over the last 2 months) become a regular!

I wish I could have left a tip for you guys on my debit card. That was the only thing... Ill remember to bring some cash next time, since you guys really deserve it. I felt so welcomed that I didnt even want to leave. Made my day!

I love this place! I am almost afraid to rate it because it is already beginning to fill up, but it is still a cool Avondale locals place. They roast and grind the coffee fresh, they have muffins, croissants, quiches, which seem to rotate. Last week they opened up outdoor seating and lunch. This is my new go to place!

Do you ever wake up in the morning with a feeling that something might be missing? Well, Ive got a latte to tell you. Classic Coffee is that kinda coffee joint thatll make you think youve died and gone to a place with really good coffee. Id wager you could live for month off of only their coffee.

I am not really a fan. I dont like the dim lighting and the seating is limited. It goes for a fancy, modern look but serves cappuccinos in disposable paper cups. The cappuccino I had on my two visits was nothing special. This place lacks the character that Gala across the road has!

Limited beverage menu and the plain black iced coffee that I got was a bit watery before the ice even had a chance to melt. The atmosphere is casual but when they ground beans or used a blender it was so loud inside that we had to stop our conversation.

Each time I go to Classic, either with a friend or alone, the coffee is delightful. Not only are they friendly, the coffee is quality. It is hard to find a good cup; but Classic stays true to their reputation in our community. Support local!

Great spot in a great location. Love the shaded outdoor seating. Coffee is great. They serve quiche and other goodies from Wild Flour Bakery...so basically the best in town. I just wish they didnt make us eat them with plastic utensils!
