The worst dining experience in my life! First off our waiter was so NOT with the program. My husband ordered a beer and he took off immediately to get it for him...never asked if I was in need of a beverage. Upon return with hubbys beer, I ordered a pot of hot tea....cant get a pot, need to order per cup, so I ordered a cup of tea. We decided to order pork dumplings for appeztizer...questioned the waiter if we could have those steamed as opposed to fried as menu stated...he told me not possible as the dumpling dough would not hold together...ordered them fried, just as the menu calls for. Waiter then came back to our table to pour our water and in doing so asked if we would like to place an order for an appetizer. What??? My husband told him we had already placed our dumpling order...waiter replied, "Oh yes, coming right out." Asked for my cup of tea as my husband was on his second beer. Finally, my cup of tea arrives, luke warm temperature without a tea bag in my cup...made me wonder??? My husband ordered the scallion pancake along with Excursion Duck...and I ordered Pad Thai Country dish with shrimp only. Scallion pancake is set down on the table....it looked like deep fried pizza without sauce. Greasy, crispy, but tasty enough. Duck was cooked just right, according to my husband, but the flavor was mediocre. My noodle dish....overcooked & a bit mushy with cold soy bean noodles thrown on top, and I mean refrigerator cold...scallions were not bite sized cut (Id have to say 1 to 1 1/2 inches long)...3 boiled shrimp with the vein NOT removed (turned my stomach to see that...needless to say I tossed them from my plate)...all mixed with a sweet and sour sauceish tasting concoction. I barely ate my meal and at one point the waiter came to the table and asked how everything was. I replied "Its okay." He responded back "Good!" Really???? You didnt hear disappointment in my voice, or you didnt see that I have a plate full of Pad Thai in front of me? Response from him should have been...Is there a problem with your dish? I have never written a restaurant review..NEVER!!! But, if found this restaurant had so many negatives, from the minute we walked in the door and until the minute we left.....I just couldnt let this one pass me by. Dont know how Thai Excursion is staying in business! Maybe I just caught an "OFF" night...off enough, never to return!

This was one of the worst dining experiences Ive had in a while. We were sat and the first thing I did was ask for water. I asked for water twice and didnt get it until after the server brought out our entrees. We didnt have plates, silverware, or napkins until half way through our appetizer. I would like to note that the restaurant was not at all busy. There were four tables, two of which were getting ready to leave, my husband and I, and the other had to have been an employee because she brought us our appetizer then sat back down and continued eating her dinner. The food was terrible. We ordered the pad se u and veggie fried rice. We requested fried tofu with both of our dishes. The tofu tasted like it had been fried a week prior and left in the fridge. A couple of the pieces of tofu legitimately tasted like chewy wet socks. The pad se u and fried rice had zero flavor. Everything tasted really old. We also ordered a scorpion bowl to drink. The scorpion bowl tasted like the big jugs of red Hawaiian Punch with rum and it made both of our stomachs upset. I will never come back to this place and I will always refer to it as the worst dining experience that Ive had in Rhode Island.

Husband and I decided to stop here for dinner before our flight. We were a little skeptical based on the three and a half stars Google gave it but decided to give it a whirl anyway. Im really glad we did because it was one of the better Thai meals Ive had. Started with the pork dumplings which had a really good flavor with its Soy Ginger dipping sauce, even though they were a bit on the small side. Also got the chicken Pad Thai which had one of the better sauces Ive had. My husband got the panang curry and its probably one of the best ones weve ever had. Nice good heat but rich flavor. The ambiance and decor was appropriate for the price and style of the restaurant. Our server Toni was super nice. I recommend this place.

We ordered take out on Friday night and we thought that the food was less than average. We normally love fresh rolls and unfortunetly the fresh rolls were made ahead of time and by the time we brought the food home to eat they were dry and we couldnt even eat them, The Pad Se U was good but the pad thai that was supposed to be chicken and shrimp had one piece of shrimp. Im sorry if it was chicken pad thai and I knew that I wouldve paid extra for shrimp. Also you know the serving was generous so one piece of shrimp really?!. We also tried the fried sampler and all I have to say is 2 pieces of 3 small items shouldnt be called a sampler. I would rather eat frozen or skip it overall than eat here again.

First we were given the wrong dish with no apology and no refill of the rice that was on my wifes plate and not eaten. Then we were stared at when my wife thought that the dish was to hot and when we expressed our dissatisfaction she simply boxed the dish and my wife sat there foodless. I told the manager and the waitress we were not satisfied and they just did not care. I stuffed the waitress first time in 20 years, I usually leave 25%. Worst service ever and they way over spice there food. Trust me stay away from this place.

I work in wakefield and normally order from Tong-D. I drove all the way from coventry because being pregnant, mango curry chicken was all I wanted. Im so glad I did. The food was amazing. A little spicier than I am used to but it was well worth it. I ordered take out and the amount of food I received could easily be 2 meals. It wasnt busy at all when I went in and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend this place.

I found this to be a 5 Star dining experience. Especially, the attentive staff and the levels of spice you can order according to your preference. The whole experience is fabulous and I certainly will do it again!! Joe Zito, needs to come here !!! Bon Appetite

No arguing the decor and service is tops, the place looks beautiful. I had a few of dishes and they all were very good. Their Chili fish is particularly delicious. Surprisingly good for a small place. I wish there were more places like this.

Numerous visits here and always fantastic tasting food. All of the curry specialty dishes are terrific. Absolutely love the place. Tried Thai in other spots, not bad, but thing like the food at Thai Excursion.
