Tried the Lobster Boat for the first time today. This restaurant is very quaint and clean. Food was excellent and portions were perfect! I ordered the seafood platter which came with fries, onion rings, coleslaw, haddock, scallops, baby shrimp, and whole clams. Priced at 21.99 (smaller portion option), it was the right amount of food and cost was appropriate. My hubby chose the steak tip/lazy lobster combo which came with a baked potato and coleslaw @27.99. We also tried the chowders, (clam and lobster corn). Both tasted good, loaded with potatoes and each of us added salt to our own taste. Service was timed perfectly, and server was attentive without hovering. We enjoyed our first experience very much, and maybe would have loved to try dessert if we were not so full! We left carrying a gift certificate to pass along to my dad, who lives within walking distance. One strange thing, Google address has this location as Litchfield, but I was confused because I believed it to be part of Hudson. Give this place a try, you wont be disappointed!

Very good seafood, at a reasonable price (for seafood). My fried clams were great, the Onion rings awesome, and my wife loved her scallops, saying they were tender and cooked perfect. The clam chowder was good, but was one if the thinner versions, but still very tasty. Pretty hard to say anything bad, when we walked out smiling and with full bellies!!

Food was good, thought the portions were a little small for the baked entrée price. Service was fast wait staff was attentive. for a local area seafood resturant the food is very good. We have become spoiled by the portions, price, and freshness of the Causeway restaurant in Gloucester. cant be beat.

Tried it for the first time today! Great service, clean dinning room, yummy food!! We had fried scallops, onion rings, lobster roll, clam chowder, and fried pickles. Everything was fantastic!! And we took some home.
