Edgewood Cafe has a great menu, great cooking and good prices. The food is no-frills, but is always well made. The specials always offer an extra 3 or 4 additional choices with wholesome goodness. If you come here you will need to try the mussels. Just a little bit spicy, youll ending asking for more bread to soak up the broth after youve finished the mussels.

Terrific local spot. Great regular menu but you have to check out the specials board. Plus its BYOB. Its a bit pricier than neighborhood places, but theyre sourcing the highest quality ingredients and making it fresh. The owner/chef is a JWU alumni, and super friendly. Theres usually one waitress, and shes awesome. But if its slammed, thats too much for one.

Edgewood Cafe has done well since they opened--consistently good food, fun service, BYOB, and a congenial atmosphere. In summer its nice to sit under the trees on the sidewalk. Basic items on menu that never disappoint (best veggie burger ever!) supplemented with good fresh specials. Worth the visit.

Excellent fish and chips. Friendly service with quick refills on drinks. The atmosphere is congenial and the decor is well above the typical neighborhood restaurant. I have to agree with others who give it a top rating.

Nice atmosphere but pricey for what you get. Ordered fish and chips and the price was half again or twice what I can get or a larger portion elsewhere. I was not impressed.
