I have been going to Mesa Cafe for a long time and not only is the food delicious but the people there are wonderful. I just recently had a baby shower there with a large guest list and they were able to accommodate everyone comfortably. The staff was amazing and helped set up the decorations and food for the party. My son is on oxygen and they made space for his machine to be plugged into to. The staffing really are wonderful, caring people. Im grateful for their hospitality and will continue to be a loyal customer for years to come!

what a great restaurant! My husband & I just left there and cant wait to go back again. Ive lived in the area for 2 years and never knew it was there til a friend suggested it and now I can honestly say I dont have to search for a place to have breakfast anymore - it will take quite a while for me to try everything on their menu. the food was very fresh, the waitstaff excellent and my husband peeked into the kitchen and said it was very clean (high marks from a former caterer). Next time Ill try lunch!

No one should be coming to this place the owner is not a very nice guy at all. No one should be bringing money to a guy who treats his employees bad. He fires people with out a valid reasons. He fired one of his really good cooks thats why some of his plates dont taste the same. whats worse is people go in and they tip the waitress but they dont know that the tips dont go to the waitress they all go to him. He keeps all the tips which is very unfair. I will never go back to this place again.

The French toast tastes bland, no flavor. I think the batter recipe should be changed. I like eating out and on the spectrum of French toast batter its on the negative end. Also the bread used tasted more of itself instead than the French toast batter. I think improvements can be made if the bread was homemade and the batter was a simple tasty mixture. Google it ask other chiefs at other kitchens. You guys can improve : )

Started coming here 3 or 4 months after it opened and Ive gone back almost every week since! Extremely friendly and cordial staff, plentiful portions, and great decor. 1-star raters are clearly either having a horrible day upon writing their reviews or just ignorant. Either way, ignore them, and grab something to eat here!!

My favorite breakfast place turned into a fabulous, Saturday night Surprise Party! Everything was perfect for me: the number of guests (60), the food, and the wonderful service. The party planners decorations were welcomed and the flexibility of the management made everything go smoothly. We all had a great time.

New to Rohde Island from New Orleans...came here under the advice of my neighbors... Food was great! service was horrible... Ive got better service from McDonalds. Waitress was rude, another customer even complained about service and she said "you know what...no, I no betyer , Im gonna keep my mouth shut"

The breakfast menu selection is superior to most restaurants; your choices are limitless! The food is VERY good, the prices are very reasonable. The place has a nice atmosphere, tasteful appearance and the staff are polite and attentive. My husband and I drive 40 mins to come here for breakfast!

Been coming here since well before it was called Mesa. Service is usually very slow even when theyre not that busy and waiters can be forgetful and lack etiquette. Generally the food is very good; they do a nice job with the Mexican cuisine and aesthetic. Solid breakfast/brunch spot overall.

Best huevos rancheros Ive had since Mexico, delicious seared carne asada as well. Local gem of a breakfast/lunch place. The default menu they hand out is mostly American-style breakfast choices, if you want to try something more authentic to central/South America, ask for the Mexican menu.

Ive been going there for years. Very friendly staff,and excellent menu choices.The owner and the wait staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Everything is delicious!! I only wish they were opened for dinner also. 5 stars all the way! I highly recommend that you go to Mesa Grill.

Stopped in for breakfast prior to going to airport. We had the Mesa and Aztec omelets from the varied menu. Both were excellent. Coffee was great. Staff and management are friendly and efficient. An obvious favorite with the local folks!

The place smells like an old musty house and they do not speak gluten-free at all... "Do you have any gluten free bread options?" "We have wheat toast." Im pretty sure my "ham" was a chopped up hotdog, probably with a wheat filler.

The homemade hot sauce can be used on anything. Food is top notch. Great staff. A little pricier than other local breakfast joints. However, you can taste the difference. This is one of my go to spots.
