The environment was cramped and loud ( very uninviting) the service was horrible ( when you first walked in no one greets or even acknowledges you. You basically stand in the front of the restaurant until a seat opens and then and only then does someone from the staff approach you for seating). With regard to service, I only saw my waitress three times... when she took my order, when she delivered my food and when she delivered my check. I had to continue to ask for refills on my coffee, extra napkins, etc. I will say that the food was good and if I was just rating the food I wouldve probably rated this restaurant a four but a restaurant is more than just food and for this reason I decided to rate this restaurant a one. I will not be back again.

The breakfast is delicious and inventive and the coffee is wonderful and comes in giant mugs. The service is friendly. Unfortunately they need to revisit how they seat people. I went with a party of three on Sunday morning. They sat the party of two ahead of us at a four top table, just as a table for two was opening up. When we asked if the party of two might move to the two top, they said they dont move people. Then they sat a party of two behind us at the newly opened two top. Finally another two top opened up and they let us sit there. If they were just a little conscientious about how they sat groups, the waits would not be as long. They really mishandled our situation.

My husband and I went for breakfast on a Sunday. We walked in to find a line of about 10 people standing along a wall waiting to be seated. To our surprise no one from the staff approached us to ask us our name or how many people were in our party so they may advise us how long before we were seated. We stood there for about 10 minutes before we decided to leave. We are vacationing from out of town and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff was unprofessional and the restaurant was extremely loud.

The food was excellent, the service was even better, the house burger is phenomenal, try the home made lemonade with blueberries and strawberry! Location is awesome right near the ocean! The restaurant has won best of Rhode island "best breakfast" three years in a row!

I moved to the area recently and want to try all the local spots, but I keep coming back to Sunset for breakfast. The staff is super friendly and they make the best biscuits Ive had since I lived in North Carolina.

A nice, quaint hometown breakfast diner in the middle of "downtown" America. Bristol, RI is such a nice, old school town right on the water front. This cafe is a perfect little breakfast shop on "Main Street".
