Thought we would check out the new pizza place in town. We needed to grab some food to take home with us. The person at the counter greeted us and explained how everything works (basically you pay a flat rate for the pizza no matter how many toppings). Pizzas were a little pricey but not too bad. We designed our pizzas and paid for a our food. Everything was going well and I was thinking about what I would order on the next trip. Then it all went down hill. The person working the oven was getting overwhelmed and asked for help. The person who came to help him actually made matters worse. we had ordered two pizzas plus cinnamon sticks. We got our first pizza no problem. Then we waited, and waited, and then waited some more. I saw our second pizza come out, but it just sat there. Finally he called our name and someone elses to get our pizzas. When you get your pizza you can ask them to put a sauce on it. My wife asked for the Balsamic. He grabbed the sauce and put it on a pizza. Unfortunately it wasnt ours. It was the other womans who obviously did not want balsamic on hers. She sat there staring at it for some time, probably deciding if she want to risk asking them to make it again and having to wait some more time. Eventually she walked off with it. But, we still did not get our pizza. He went on to hand out others, never finishing ours. After about another 5 minutes we got our pizza. All good, right. Nope, still need the cinnamon sticks. Finally our cinnamon sticks come out of the oven along with someone elses order of them. You get a choice of dipping sauce with them, we choose chocolate and the other person get cinnamon. They didnt have any cinnamon dipping cups set up so they needed to get some. Despite the fact that they had chocolate cups ready, they couldnt give us our cinnamon sticks. Again, we sat there waiting for our food. (The entire time holding our other pizzas in our hand). Finally, once they solved the problem of no cinnamon sauce, we got our cinnamon sticks and were able to leave. Total time from being given first pizza to leaving was at least 20 minutes, and that is probably being very generous to them. Bottom line, do yourself a favor and go to one of the many great local pizza joints. Our favorite is Johns Pizza which is just down the street. (The only reason ?I gave this two stars was the front counter person was very nice and was good at her job).

Our family loves this place. Two sizes of pizzas available. Crust is thin & crispy, and you can make your own pizza with various sauces and toppings. Everyone gets what they want! They also have gluten free crusts, and due to various toppings, its good for people with allergies or special diets. They also have a few salads. Service is quick, and staff are friendly. Parking can be a bit tricky at times - you may need to park at the nearby motel and walk over.

Horrible. Ordered online before had to work night shift. Picked it up, gave us two pizzas, ordered one. Ordered a Maddy with tomatoes, peppers, pepperoni. They gave us two pizzas. Both crusts were burnt, the so called just cheese one had a dash of cheese on it and rest crust. Crust was more flatbread, not pizza. The cinnamon sticks were a brick. Pizza was extremely small, 4 slices for $10?And in a box that had 11in on bottom. Not for me, or co workers!

Wasnt terrible but not awesome either. Although you can pick whatever toppings and price remains the same, I found that there was not enough cheese, sauce or toppings on each pizza. We got 5 pizzas and 3 shakes and it was $63 with tip for 4 people. We could have gotten a much better dinner for that price per person. Will not be going again. You can make a tortilla pizza at home and get the same result.

Awesome place for designing your own pizza. The largest pizza size is 11 inches and you can add as many toppings as you like. You can use a classic styles or invent your own. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is lively. The pizza is really good for being ready shortly after ordering and the prices are not bad. Will definitely be visiting again.

Im from Michigan so this was new to me. If I had have known that you can load the pizza with additional ingredients then I would have taken advantage of it. They should announce this as you are ordering your pizza. They all greet you with a "Hey!" as you enter like the Five Guys restaurants but that part is really creepy. The pizza was great though.

This is some of the best pizza I can get in the York area. The crust is perfect, the toppings are high-quality, the sauce is simple and delicious, and the experience/atmosphere make Mod Pizza unique. You can also tell that they try to show their expertise with customer service and quality. Ill continue to frequent here!

This place is great! Nice thin crispy crust instead of undercooked dough like the other places (Eh hem Nittany). The employees are always helpful and cheerful even when they are cracking busy. Vegan and gluten free options, seasonal toppings, and the lemonade is amazing. I am so happy this place appeared!

Oh my gosh this place is so good! Crust to topping ratio is perfect, not too bready so you can really enjoy the pizza for the pizza and not just the bread. The pizza is fired in a brick oven which gives it the best flavor. Price is great too. Ill definitely be coming back. Staff is friendly to boot!

This place is awesome. Its like subway for pizza. I really like being able to go down the line and add unlimited toppings for the same price. I also really loved that they offer other drink options besides soda. The homemade iced tea is really light and refreshing, without being overly sugary.

They had a amazing selection of toppings and the best gluten free crust I have ever had! The price is great and to be able to customize your pizza and not pay extra is incredible! Only issue I had was the girl handling money was also handling pizza and she wasnt wearing gloves

I went on a Monday during lunch time (12pm). The wait was not long and the gentleman who made my pizza was so friendly, and understood my order well. This is my go-to spot for when Im craving pizza. I highly recommend this location!

Good pizza, alot of options for your money however the pizza is very small, even for the largest option maxing out at 11 inches! Perfect place for a lunch but not enough for a dinner. Youll be hungry later on. Bertuccis is better.

Was going on a regular basis almost every weekend or every other weekend for a while. The portions went smaller on the pizza, the quality of taste has went down, and the people act as if your bothering them when you order.

I ordered online and everything was ready when I arrived at the specified time. The cashier was nice and the place seemed cool overall. The pizza was good, esp. if you like a thinner crust.
