I wasnt in a great mood when I started searching Google maps for a place nearby that had good burgers. Almost went to 5 Guys, but came upon this place in my search and decided to give it a try. Although the food was great, the bartender definitely didnt want to deal with me. Perhaps its because I wasnt drinking alcohol, so he didnt think hed receive a decent tip from me (which he was wrong). Or, maybe its because I was alone. Who knows? The point is, I definitely noticed that those at the bar who were drinking alcoholic beverages definitely received more attention. Im sorry my presence at the bar didnt seem worthwhile, but I believed sitting at the bar was better than taking a whole table to myself. I ended up staying longer than I wanted because the lack of attention kept my food from being ordered. Thats 1 star being taken away. As for everything else, the Wass burger was fantastic! However, I wouldve loved some mustard with the fries it came with. I never got the mustard because of the above mentioned bartender. I enjoyed the appetizer of tater tots, with the exception of the sour cream. It didnt taste fresh. The very thin slice of carrot cake for dessert was almost insulting that I even bothered to stick around for 20 minutes after after finishing my burger, waiting for neglectful bartender (again). As for my drink, I ordered an Arnold Palmer. I wish I had been informed they didnt have sweet tea, but what can elect being north of the Mason-Dixon. The only non-alcoholic beverage listed on the menu was an Odouls. No mention of soda, tea, etc. The food was, imo, worthy of 4 stars. Really good for a pub. The live music was a fantastic surprise. The songs played, Ring of Fire (Johnny Cash), Mary Janes Last Dance (Tom Petty), etc make it very difficult to be in a bad mood. Ive already recommended this place to a few friends, but with the warning about the lack of service.

Heather the greatest bartender! The bartenders really hold it down on the weekends!! Plus they no just what to mix you up if you cant make your mind up like me! Love this place, perfect for dinner and then perfect for the younger 21+ crowd- 10 pm nice and dark. Owners truly try to make this place perfect, special, and CLEAN . They do not put up with fights etc. So be prepared to get kicked out (like you should) Besides no pool tables (which I dont care, rather dance to the loudest djs w/o going into philly) I have nothing negative to say. Exceptional service by the bartenders on getting everyones drinks in a timely manner on a crazy Fri. Best part my husband and I can take 10 steps & we are there . Dont forget HAPPY HOUR cant beat it! 1/2 off martinis & wings fall off the bone BEST ughhhh LOVE... wish they had the Irish nachos still.

First time visitors this past weekend while visiting family in the area. Food was great but service needs to greatly improve. First, there seemed to be an issue with a missing hostess, then as we were in the middle of eating our appetizers our entrees arrived and one of the entrees was incorrect, which the waitress quickly resolved and removed from our check but everyone was almost done when the correct entree arrived. Suggestions: servers need to not put in the appetizers and entries at the same time. The table needs to have time to enjoy and digest the app before the main meal is served. We may try this restaurant again but not anytime soon, when we visit.

I cant believe that this is the same place that others are reviewing. Positives: reasonable prices, large beer selection and OK service. Negatives: subpar atmosphere (if compared to ANY sit down franchise), and food that is honestly on par with counter restaurants at airports. Nachos were chips covered in ballpark liquid cheese, hidden under garnishing, and never baked. Wifes burger was ho-hum. Thats fine, but calling it gastro is seriously stretching it. Wed recommend many more places off the 611, or 309, over this - albeit slightly more expensive. Otherwise, I can only assume that those high scores/reviews are tied to happy hour effects".

I dont think Ive ever been put in a place where Ive had to tell people "what did you just say?" And "excuse me, please." Whoever thought it was a great idea to put a club in a train car is beyond me. But if you love getting bumped into by buff dudes and being told to "watch out, or Ill beat you to bits." Or waiting in an endless sea of Southamptons finest to get an overpriced adult beverage. Or maybe it is your thing! I dont judge. Only review.. Which I guess is judging.. Alright so just take it out of the equation. I call in sick when anyone says that this is where we are going that night.

LITERALLY, LEGITIMATELY the sole best food in the area. My favorite restaurant, hands down. I have tried upwards of 90% of the normal menu and we go every Thursday night for the weekly specials. I honestly tell everyone I know to go or even take people there that are visiting from out of the area. My colleagues think I have stock in the place, I speak so highly! We return every week with good reason. If you dont go youre missing out. I just WISH theyd bring back their summer non-alcoholic drinks with nectars, like the Kitt Keller/Cooler. That drink was so refreshingly awesome!

My husband and I are visiting from Florida, and we were looking for good quality food from a local joint later in the evening. We ordered an open faced turkey sandwich and a French dip. It was ready promptly for pick up, however, when I returned home I found we werent given any gravy or the au jus. Called, was apologized to, went back to pick it up, the owner/manager greeted me outside at the door with both items and gift card to apologize for the mishap. Excellent customer service, and once we had all the items it was a delicious meal. Cant wait to return and try them again.

Update: Ive found this place over time to be hit or miss. Sometimes they are running full Steam and everything is great, but other times we get poorly prepared food and lackluster service. Id love to see more consistency, but for now I have to take a star away. Original: Really great atmosphere and a very creative and tasty menu variety. Add to that a diverse beer menu and excellent service, and we really have a winner in Steam Pub. Highly recommended!

Most EXCELLENT!!! I tried their breakfast burger with tater tots... That was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!! However... I think that you should put the egg UNDER the French toast... It took me awhile to get my nerve up to dig in cause of the egg being on top. I ate my tater tots while I was getting my nerve up... Im really glad I ordered it though!! Loved our waitress, Marie! Well be asking for her the next time were there!!!
