Went there with a friend and watched the flyers game. The Pub was packed but didnt feel cramped if that makes any sense. We didnt try the vast selection of beer but were very very pleased with the appetizers . The Nachos were Amazing , they deep fry the chips which gives it that nice crunchiness. They toppings were well blended with strands of lettuce, sauce , jalepenos , the steak was cooked almost perfectly and they had a layer of cheese on top of everything and in the middle where most places over look. The buffalo wings were definitely above average, not the best Ive ever had but cmon? Who goes to a pub if they want the best wings ever. I wouldnt hesitate to give them another go. Lastly the mozzarella sticks were breaded cheesy heaven. You could easily tell that these were homemade if not they damn sure look it. None of them were the exact size and you could see the bread on them solidified as if they were dropped in and pulled right out. They were stuffed with mozzarella leaving no air pockets that you usually see. Theyre the type of mozzarella sticks you want to pull apart and just admire the string of cheese expand between both pieces. Great local place that I will definitely be revisiting very soon. This may be my spot to watch the eagles on Sundays.

Good beer. That is it. Unfortunately for them, good beer is all over the city. Went there on New Years Day and the place had maybe 15 people in in the downstairs. I ordered Cuban Spring Rolls and Duck Confit over risotto. Spring Rolls served at room temp to downright cold=disgusting. Miss! But, I at least know why. Because they came out at exactly the same time as my duck confit, which was completely missing the advertised sauce and on under cooked risotto. How does a chef or bartender not realize at some point that I dont want my appetizer with my entree???? Because then it is all cold. If you choose to go, I would stick with beers for appetizer, entree, and dessert. Because even these no talent ass clowns cant screw that up. Robert Heiple

This place does not need more high reviews, but its that good. I live in the neighborhood and love this place for a couple reasons. 1. Excellent rotation of craft brews and local drinks. Always something new to try. Unless you can drink then ask. In which case, maybe you want to get help. 2. I have never ordered food here I did not live. Their fries are some of the freshest cut and tastiest in all their flavors. The Lodge Steak is a winner for any other salami-lovers out there. The chicken croquettes are also winners! 3. It is relaxed and friendly, things I wish we had more of in Philly. Go on the mens bathroom and tell me this place isnt the epitome of cool. Thanks for reading, happy imbibing!

We stopped for lunch last week I had a cheese steak with roasted pepper mayo and salami. My wife had a chicken/bacon bbq wrap. And our son had fish and chips. All were excellent and reasonably priced. The fish and chips was the best I have ever had in the US, and the portion was HUGE. Beer selection was great. I got a Weyerbacher Slam Dunkel - wish I would have known it was a dunkelweizen before I ordered it, but it was OK. Nice selection of draft beers and bottles. Friendly service and an excellent value.

I travel the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe; I go to bars and drink for a living. The Grey Lodge is about 25 minutes from my home, and it is one of my favorite joints in all the world. Great beer, great food, good whiskey selection...but more importantly, fantastic bar atmosphere and an offbeat sense of humor that keeps things interesting. And then there are the regulars..who are all part of it as well. Youll like this place; you might even love it. You should definitely give it a shot.

Me and my wife found this place last year by sheer luck. The is a fairly typical bar on the first floor that seems clean, orderly, and tastefully decorated. The patrons also seemed to share those qualities! On the second floor is a small bar and tables where they serve about a million different beers and excellent food. The staff knows more about beer than Ive ever seen and is polite and attentive even when busy. A real gem in the rough!

Great all around place to watch a game, grab good drink and food too. Only reason it got 3 of 5 stars is the entrance went from wheelchair passable not accessible to a impassable in my power chair after the facelift. Wish I could enjoy the Grey Lodge more but they forgot about "disabled good tippers." Maybe I should of tipped more. Go anyways even though I cant:(

Didnt think Mayfair had a decent bar, but this place proved me wrong! Fishtown vibe in the Northeast. Excellent craft beers on tap daily, and a modest yet well-selected whiskey menu. Simple eats (I had a burrito), and they also have local art on display to sell. 2 floors by the way, each with their own bars.

A converted local taproom, now one of the off-the-beaten path beer destinations in the city. Still has a lot of the local tappy trappings--loud (but not obnoxious) regulars, sports on TV, a mix of beer lovers and folks from the neighborhood. Solid bar menu. Upstairs a good option if the game doesnt suit you.

When you think of a bar in the northeast you dont think of quality; however "the Grey lodge " will change your perception. The food was amazing, well seasoned and creative. Not having much knowledge on beers there staff really helped me and I found some new favorites. I will definitely be returning soon

Hands down the best pub in the city. Great beer, great food and great staff. The patrons are down to earth philly people. They are always hosting some kind of fun event, like Mad Elf Night, 120 on 1/20, Beer Season, Firken nights, etc...

Great beer selections with consistent rotation. Food specials are always tasty and regular menu is solid. Hottest wings are just the right spice level.

They have awesome IPA selections and amazing, unique grub. The Brussel sprout, Apple quesadillas were amazing! And the server/bartender kicked butt!
