While the names of the menu items may sound intriguing, and the drinks a fresh twist on the boring same old, I have to say after tasting a few items off the menu, I wouldnt recommend this whatsoever. No, theyre not terrible. The food is cooked, though not seasoned. But as my dinner went on, I saw through the facade. The experience and food, simply, were mediocre. Tonight I shared with friends the Hendrix Experience (gin), crab bites, fried pickles, chicken wings, the Swanson burger, fries, dessert tacos, and fried Oreos. The Hendrix Experience is Hendrix Gin muddled with lime, cucumbers, and jalepenos. The first couple drinks were interesting, intriguing, new... I enjoyed the first few sips. But the heat was so intense that I couldnt enjoy any food with it and, ultimately, drank less than an ounce. The crab bites were not bites, but rather miniature cakes. They were not crispy. They fell apart. They were mediocre. The fried pickles and chicken wings were good. The Swanson burger was $16 and lacked any seasoning whatsoever. Not even salt. I ordered medium rare patties and got medium well to well done. Thin slices of cheese that I could not taste. Even though I ordered it with extra bourbon aioli, I couldnt taste any. It was dry and tasted like someone took lean beef directly from a package, with absolutely no additions, plopped onto a grill. The fries were limp. The dessert tacos were boring. The fried Oreos soggy. It was overpriced and mediocre. The waitress could tell we were not happy. Two halves of burgers were left unwanted. They said the air conditioning was on but even though I was not sitting in direct sunlight, I was sweating in my seat. The waitress didnt even ask if we wanted to split the check.

I absolutely LOVE Fries Rebellion. Its not a "pick up" bar. Its not a "sports bar". Its not a trendy dive. Its a nice, comfortable, casual place where you can ask the bartenders to make you drinks NOT on the menu without drawing a blank stare. Craft beers, most liquors, and lots of food choices are on the menu & you feel like you "belong" whether youre out in sweats or dressed up from dinner somewhere else. They have FRIED PICKLES! OMG! Theyre so good! And you can easily order a few apps to share & they always have events & cool local LIVE bands. If youre looking for a pick-up Nightclub or a typical Pub with everyone drinking $1 Coors Light...this isnt your place. If youre looking for subdued class & a variety of drinks/food with friendly bartenders & a place to go after dinner with friends or even a casual date night....this is it. I cant even believe this isnt on Yelps Top Ten places in Q-town considering the other places are mostly places where you find Coors Light on tap & sports blasting in your face. This is a nice, clean, atmospheric break from typical dives and sports pubs.

Our new favorite place. Weve been here twice in 3 days. Great craft beer selection. Never had an IPA on nitro - totally different experience. The wings are phenomenal - had the garlic parmesan and the bacon wrapped. Burgers were delicious, admittedly a little overcooked but we barely noticed because the flavors were delicious - had the black and white burger and the the one with pulled pork on top. If you like hoisin try the wrap, its great but an aquired taste. Service was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is just or style. Every detail was thought out here from the menu items to tap selection, decor to the way they deliver your check in a cigar box. This is our new favorite place.

I only give 2 stars for the courteous waitress that we had. My passionfruit hard cider was good, as well. It was a featured. Now for the bad. We ordered pretzels & beer cheese as an appetizer. We ordered a cold flat bread and a chicken sandwich as meals. The pretzels were greasy but flavorful. The beer cheese was greasy and flavorless. It seems also whoever prepped the cheese broke the sauce, so it was very clumpy. I wish I could talk about the meals, but after waiting 47 minutes with no food, we had to leave. The waitress apologized and told us that the chef didnt show and that the prep cook was filling in. They gave us the check with 10% off without the meal.

Great atmosphere for socializing. Good drinks, mixed well (Long island iced tea was bitter... but thats not a problem if youre into that. Tropical drink was excellent with no taste of alcohol). Food was great and filling. Only cons: The staff didnt seem as willingly helpful (no real drink suggestions, didnt answer questions as thoroughly as necessary (often vague or inconclusive), didnt seem to want to spend much time dealing with you). They opened a tab without asking, which left me unaware of the costs which is definitely something I didnt like. Overall very good experience, and I would definitely go there again.

I go out to eat at least 3 times a week. I am comparing this to local competitors. Chicken cheese steak was great, it had an excellent cheese sauce which was the best part, the bad started with cold fries for our entire table (5 people). Asked for a vodka on the rocks and they brought out the most expensive vodka they had without asking ($7.50 each). Two different beers on tap were also $7.50 each. Paid without questioning and left a generous tip but I will not be a repeat customer. (side note: made reservations and ended up with a 10 minute wait - reservations dont matter here!)

Our party of two went at opening. The hostess seated us and we were promptly brought our drinks and menu. We ordered the pretzels with their cheese dip. The pretzels were delicious, but the cheese sauce was curdled, greasy and flavorless. We ordered a sandwich and flat bread for our meals. After waiting 47 minutes for our entrees we left. We were only one of two tables in the entire restaurant. We were the first seated by ten minutes or more. I would NOT recommend going to this restaurant if you actually want to eat, but they do have a large selection on tap.

From the outside this place looks questionable but I have passed it a million times and decided it was time to give it a shot. I was surprised by the inside. Renovated PUB and restaraunt. Loved the beer selection and really enjoyed the menu selection. I am really picky when it comes to burgers and I was very happy with mine. Only down side was that we sat in the room where the gas fire place was lit and you can smell the gas from the fire. Other than that I would definately go back.

I wish I had taken a picture of our french fries... I couldnt tell you the last time the oil was changed. They were nasty and the color of a dark mahogany, all the ketchup in the world couldnt help them. WARNING: Fries Rebellion is a rebellion against delicious crispy golden french fries!.. Just look at the pictures other people posted, GROSS! This is a tiny place for the locals, they like it, its their "Cheers" I guess and theyre loyal. I however am not a local and think its disgusting.

Good bartenders. Poor service. Terrible food. Ive gone twice several months apart, once seated at the bar, once at a table with six others. The first time my fish and chips were so mushy and cooked inconsistently, I didnt even finish them. Just recently, went on a Saturday afternoon. The vegetarian "option" was a flavored hummus wrap that was absolutely disgusting. My "Notorious BLT" was just so poorly constructed. It had three tomato slices and the lettuce was wilted. Never again.
