I heard so many good things about this place. I finally had a reason to go. It was my friend 40th bday, there were at 25 of us there. We had reservation, so they should have been prepared for a party of our size. My first issue was it was cold in the room. They had a heater in the room that wasnt helping at all. An hour into being there someone came in to FIX the heat. I watched him turn the fire off. Play with a lighter for a minute and then get up and leave. The heater never came on again. We finally ordered, it took another 30 minutes for our soup and salads to come out. The soup was great, after they bought me the right one. Our food started coming out about 20 minutes after that. Once I received my jumbo lump crab cakes the were cold and burned on the edges. They definitely were not jumbo lump. More like crabby patties from Sams Club. It took another 15 minutes to get someones attention. The waitress came over and I told her I didnt want them. She said why, the taste or quality. I said both plus they were burnt. She just took the plate and walked away. She never asked me if I wanted anything else. So after waiting for a while, I realized she wasnt coming back to ask. As I watched others at my table eat, I ate bread and butter. My husband tired to give me his food. Once my husband, niece, and nephew were done we asked for the check and left. No one tired to fix the problem. They just left me sitting there hungry. The only sliver lining was it was my friend bday and she looked happy. The waitress was mean and rude. And she definitely should not be working with the public. I wish I knew her name. I will never step foot in that place again. I gave it one star, because thats the only way you can post.

Wow. Went to the Baltimore House this evening for the all you can eat crab legs and shrimp - first time in a year and a half - last time for sure. Starting back about 10 years ago or so, friends from work and I used to go once a month for years on a Tuesday for the legs and shrimp and it was wonderful - my wife and son and I even used to go on our own on Sundays - it was really good. After a few guys retired, the group kinda quit going - but, my wife and our son and I went - the last couple of times we went, we didnt really like it - the quality was not there. Decided to give it a shot today because I was hungry for legs - mistake. My first order of legs and shrimp were really overcooked - the shrimp were like mush - the legs were next to impossible to get out of the shell (and were very small) - I always take a little sharp knife and slice the shell and the meat comes out in one piece - not this evening, and they were cold. When I got my second order, the shrimp were cooked perfectly, but there were only three of them (maybe the oil spill impact) - the legs were cold after the first cluster and once again they were over cooked and next to impossible to get out of the shell and were small - I used to polish off 3 or 4 orders, 2 was enough this trip. My wife had the 20 oz portion of prime rib - it was OK at best - good bit of fat and one end was burned. The best part of the meal this evening was the french fries and the clam chowder and slaw were still good. Never again.

Worst service Ive ever had at a restaurant. When we arrived it took nearly 20 minutes before anyone came to the table to help us. Once the waitress came to the table she had a bad attitude and walked away before we could even give her our drink orders. Then a different waitress came and took over. Once I order a cocktail it took around 30-40 minutes to get to the table. The drink I order was supposed to have a glow stick and a gummy worm in it, which it did not. It was one of their "fish bowl" cocktails. As for the food it took forever to be served. One of the people with us didnt even get her food until we were all done eating. The food was not very flavorful. The crab artichoke dip tasted like miracle whip. The fillet mion my boyfriend and I both got was terrible. It was burnt on the outside, but raw on the inside. We think it was frozen. Once we were finished eating we waited for over half an hour for the check. Our waitress came back and forth to our tables 6 times before she could get our checks and change right. We asked her multiple times for boxes before we took our food home in the empty basket left on the table. Where the bread was. Overall we were there for 2 and a half hours. Time spent eating was 30 minutes!!! Needless to say we WOULD NOT GO BACK. A very unorganized environment. The food was not good and over priced. Save yourself the time.

This may have been some of the worst food I have ever had. Certainly the worst for the price. We had muscles as an appetizer. They were dry, the sauce was overcooked with too much butter, and I am not entirely unconvinced I will not regret eating them later tonight. My side salad was depressing looking, with iceburg lettuce, a few slices of cucumber, 3 olives, and one green pepper slice, although I will give them, everything was crisper than it appeared. The coconut shrimp was not bad, but nothing special either. My "prime rib" was very overcooked, mostly fat, and otherwise not good. I also had the mashed sweet potatoes, which were clearly canned and poorly seasoned. My fiancee had the Captains Feast, and trust me, the name is a misnomer. "Snack" would be a better word. Although she said the lobster was good, her shrimp was remarkably small and bland. Her scallops were borderline inedible. The oysters were disgusting (and yes, we both know what oysters are supposed to taste like). For her sides she got mashed potatoes. I have never seen her turn down mashed potatoes, but she stopped eating them after a few bites. She also had the vegetables. Clearly frozen. But thats not the worst part....they were awful. Completely inedible. Thats pretty much the bottom line here: Any restaurant that can screw up frozen vegetables is not worth eating at.

I have driven by the baltimore house a number of times and on a whim today I gave it a try. The decor makes the place look like its 3 or more different restaurants. The silver ware was warped damaged and dirty. The bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned. Then the food, for starters. 2.50 for an ice tea is far too much. 5.95 for potato skins and their version is just 2 small potatoes cut in half with some cheese and bacon with no seasoning on it. And for my meal I had the crab cake sandwich I have spent a few years in baltimore myself so I was hoping for what I was used to. What I got was a processed patty with mostely filler and next to no crab mean and fries for 9 dollars. Honestly I do not know how this location stays open. There were only 2 other people eating there while we were during prime dinner rush hours. If you can advoid this place like the plauge. Red lobster is only a few minutes away and is cheaper and that was a suprise to me
