First time eating there this Spring break. I tried the Mac Run Across America Sampler,the Shrimp Shack Mac & Cheese and the Blue Lagoon . The Sampler came with Bubbas Far out dip and chips, chilled peel n Eat Shrimp, Spicy Chicken Strips, Seafood Hus Pups and Mama Blues Fried Shrimp....So, here is my back down First the restaurant was really cleaned and the staff were friendly. Our waitress just took a really long time to get anything done. By the time she came over my table, we were all ready to order drinks and food. The prices were also a bit high (not sure if it is because it is because it is a seafood restaurant or because it is on the beach) The Drink: Mojito (my fav) inspired. It was really good. I am very impress Mac & Cheese: The Shrimp were seasoned pretty well and well proportion in the dish. The noodles could of used a little more time soaking(personal preference). Sampler: Overall this this could improve in one or two ways. I was disappointed to see the cabbage under the food, but I knew it was used to aid presentation as stuffing in the paper. I did NOT like the chips and dip (you can try it to see if you like it, but i am not a fan and wont be ordering it again) For Chilled n Peel you absolutely can not go wrong with shrimp cocktail but they sauce should be reconsidered. It had a strange after taste. Chicken Strips is also another one that you can not go wrong with. There are no complaints there, but there are also no complainants. I love, love, love....did I sat LOVE the hush pups. Definitely worth a try for the whole table. Fried Shrimp was good too, but then again shrimp is really hard to go wrong with. Overall, if youre a fan of shrimp and Forrest Gump, you would definitely appreciate eating there at least once in your life.

Worst place ever. First time here and last. Tried to get a table out side but did not know if we just sit down or not. The girl at the front door had me standing there for 10 min and the only thing she could say was just a minute. Then she takes us inside just so somebody else could take us back outside. Shirt I was already outside I could have saved the walk and sat down. Then we finally ordered our food. The wait food the food was oh my god forever. Watched a couple sit down after us and was done with eating before we received our food. My wife started to eat and took the first bite when she saw a bug in her food. It was not a outside bug. We gave the food back and the manager came out and told us it was from the corn. That they clean it by the fryers. Wow really. Your prep table is by were you cook the food. She said they use only fresh food. Well then it is not a good idea to clean fresh food where you cook food. Then my daughter was half way done and saw a bug in here food. Health Department really need to go out there.

If I could rate something lower than 1 star I would, but I cannot. After having to hunt someone down to even seat us, we were seated in the very back of the restaurant. We waited almost 20 minutes for a server to come and take our order. She took our drink order and off she went. After 10 more minutes waiting for our drinks, she finally came and took our food order. When our food arrived it was cold and flavorless. Our waitress never came back to check on us at all. We finally found a manager, and told her what was going on. She could have cared less. She got us our final bill and never offered us an apology, let alone a free dessert. With all of the amazing restaurant in the area, why anyone would eat at this nasty chain restaurant, I will never know. Just because it has a famous movie character in the name, people think it must be good.

Worst food I have ever eaten in my life, honestly. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger well done (not a seafood person). My burger was completely burnt and my fries were undercooked. My wife ordered the spicy shrimp. She said it tasted like it was frozen and then microwaved. Couple that we ate with had the hush puppies, several of them was still doughy. Just because we were starving, we ate our food to our regret. We also ordered a chocolate cookie desert with ice cream. Literally, the cookie was almost as cold as the ice cream, and was extremely hard to dig into. This is the only review I have ever written on a restaurant, usually I just keep my mouth shut and just never return there. People need to know to never go here, literally! Worst food ever. The only positive I can say is that the host was nice and the beach obviously was beautiful.

Husband & I arrived around 8:30pm. First impression of the restaurant was their outside patio seating did not have lightning what so ever. Every table seated out there had to use their phone as a flashlight to just view the menu alone. We had a 10 minute wait when there were plenty of vacant tables outside and only 3 tables occupied inside (one out of the 3 tables was ours) inside was completely vacant. We spent $80 at this place for 2 margarita & warm "fried" seafood. ( fish & chip + shrimp heaven) Extremely not worth paying the price for the food you receive. I read some reviews on the way to the restaurant and saw someone compare it to frozen seafood at a local grocery store and I highly agree! Great place to stop by for drinks though I loved my strawberry margarita & my husband loved his coronarita (but you can get those anywhere

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and only had 2 more days in Florida before returning back home so we thought we could go out to a restaurant for dinner that was a local favorite! They show prices before you get sat down which dont look to expensive when your in line but once you sitting and ordering its VERY expensive! Im saying this because my husband and I ordered 3 alcoholic beverages and I ordered a burger and he ordered an entree with fish, shrimp and fries and the picture it showed it was going to be a LARGE entree when the waitress delivered my husbands food to us it was the LITTLEST plate of food Ive ever seen for $20! My 5 year old could have eaten it as her dinner! Not happy with my experience at this restaurant!

I would give 0 stars if that was an option! Worst experience i have ever had at a restaurant! I went to Bubba Gump in Orlando in August and very much enjoyed it so I had to go again while in fort lauderdale.It took about 2 hrs for us to get our food most of which was cold. Other tables around us were complaining about both the speed and the food. When we said something to the manager he walked away laughing. After we finished eating the manager walked over to apologize we told him how nice the waitress was despite everything else and he mumbled under his breathe that she is going to be looking for a new job. He should be looking for a new job, very unprofessional. Needless to say I wont be going back anytime soon.
