The Barrel is probably one of the best places in the local area. The grapes are grown and the wine is all made in Pennsylvania. Six wines in a barrel on tap. The mix drinks are house made and the best in the area. I heard the cook has a background as a fine dining cook and the food offered is top tier bar food. I swing by weekly and the live music is the top tier. I avoid places with live music but they bring in some great talent. Add this to your list for dinner, drinks after or the entire night out. All in all this place is worth checking out and stopping in before the 11pm move to PJs or the 1pm move to bistro.

This is a tucked-away little gem... if its possible to be tucked away on Bridge Street. Even though its been there for over a year, this was my first visit. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the idea of a wine flight was awesome, and the outdoor seating was perfect. I wasnt terribly impressed by their desserts, but that was a small part of a nice night out and not enough to deter me from future visits.

worst wine bar on the planet, they put a tip on our card that was unauthorized when we bought wine to go ....then we came again and i gave them my card and they were supposed to reverse the charges and put it on my boyfriends card and didnt.....over and over bad business choices by their staff

Best wine & mixed drinks in town! They have hands down the best bruschetta you will find anywhere. The staff members are all very nice & extremely knowledgeable! Definitely recommend stopping by when in the area!

Great craft-wine. Friendly owner and bartender. Very relaxed environment, at least when I was there. They also serve Russian mule cocktails and a small selection of craft beer
