Ive always had pretty good service and food at this restaurant but my experience tonight was unacceptable. The waiter Erik Seemed to do well when we sat down he took my drink order and food order and it all came on time and was cooked the way i asked. After that it seemed like all the waiters attention shifted onto the two girls sitting at the booth next us. I asked for my check and after the waiter talked to the girls for several minutes he brought it. My bill was $14.97 and i paid with a 20$bill. The waiter gave me a 5$ bill in change. not that i car about the 3 cents but he still should have brought it. And how am i supposed to tip with a 5 dollar bill. i had to get change from my fried because i was not leaving 5$ for the service i received. my friend was waiting for his check he continued to talk to the girls neglecting our table. i cant say we got the best service but at least the girls next to us did.

Had a terrific experience recently at The Greene Turtle in Lewes. All of the staff, from the Hostess to the Servers were very diligent and exceptionally friendly! Our waitress, Marissa was fabulous! She was able to juggle individual tabs for our large party and she was quick! Marissa was incredibly efficient and her personality was consistent throughout the evening, even under great stress with our large orders and high demands! Management displayed great professionalism and Mike was a hoot! He has a bubbly personality and made us feel as part of The Greene Turtle family! Our food was hot, tasty, and exactly what we expected! I will certainly be back and highly recommend this location.

Today, 1/17/15 around 4:00 I took my 92 year old mother and wife to have a nice late lunch and had a very disappointing experience. As a rule I never send anything back, because of the nasty rumors you hear about with the kitchen staff, however today was no exception. Our food was stone cold. I had the baby back ribs with shrimp, fries, and coleslaw. Im sure the slaw was warmer than the ribs and shrimp. Our service could not have been better. Ron 18164 was outstanding. With the many eateries that we have to choose from in our area, I cant say that I will be back to the Green Turtle anytime soon.

Dinner... We have been here a number of times before, franchise or not they do a great meal. No waiting (it was just after two), a short wait with our Iced Teas; Diane ordered the CHESAPEAKE BURGER, and I had the CHICKEN CHESAPEAKE; filled us both right up. Very tasty, and to date, has always satisfied us, We will be going back yet again; I commend it to you, give it a try.

Terrible experience. Had to wait for more then 30 min for our order. When the pizza arrived it was already cold. Talked to the manager about the wait and quality of food only to get lecture on " do you know how long it takes to prepare the food" in a unapologetic rude demeanor. Giving it one star because could not give it none. Food average in a good day.

This restaurant has nice opens face and the waitress was extremely nice. I had a club sandwich and unfortunately the toast was scorched which gave the sandwich an unpleasant taste. It would be nice to have a restaurant like this in the area that has good food. But I will hesitate to come back again.

Service was terrible. 5 minutes before being greeted. Another 10 minutes for drinks, which went to the wrong people, and there were only two of us. Never checked on after food arrived. When manager asked how we were doing and all we could say was not that great he walked away

Food and service were good. Bar area is a bit loud. Military discount is 15%, but its only good for ONE item, not the whole partys meal, or even one persons full meal. They dont even take the discount off the most expensive item, they just pick one.

Great food! Great happy hour. You can sit throughout the restaurant and still benefit from happy hour prices. They also have a late night 10pm happy hour. Trivia nights are fun here also!
