Although I enjoy the food, I have a serious issue with the service here. I come here often and within the past two months, its been 3-4 times a week. A couple of weeks ago, I called in an order for jerk salmon, I called about an hour ahead of time. I get there and had to wait. Not an issue, I figured it was because they were busy. So today, I called an hour ahead of time for the exact same thing. I expect that since I called, my platters would be ready by the time I get there. So today I go pick up my order, my salmon isnt ready (mind you, I called an hour ahead) and I also ordered oxtail over the phone. I get there, they say the oxtail isnt ready. Well now Im mad because I have to change my order, then they tell me that I have to wait. THE REASON I CALLED MY ORDER IN IS BECAUSE I CANT WAIT! So they take my order again, and the rude lady messes up my order. So tell her again, and even still...messes it up. This is about the third time Ive seen this lady screw up. This lady also likes to argue with customers. NOT GOOD! Shes new, the light skinned shorter lady. Also, she wanted to argue with me over needing my ID. I ALWAYS COME IN WITH A CREDIT CARD AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN ASKED FOR ID, and she proceeded to argue with me. Due to the lack of service, I dont think Ill be back here. Its sad because I really do like the food, but I refuse to give my money to a place where I dont feel appreciated as a customer.

If looks could kill I would be dead every time I walk into this establishment, these lowlife female servers/cashiers look at you as if you just robbed the joint, very, very uncomfortable. I walk in and want to leave immediately. What to expect: 1) Ive been going here maybe 2 years and there has been a price increase 3 times in two years and prices are high enough. Curry goat has risen from 9$ to 13$ in a short span. 2) in order to pay by debit they charge you 1$ if the order is 10 and over and 50cents if under 10$ 3) they tend to hire the worst people to serve your food, talk about attitude they act as if its a hand out and your not a paying customer. They need to hire more customer friendly staff it makes a big difference and is the key in customer return rate. If i gotta travel to west Philly to QualityTaste, or south Philly to Jamaican Jerk Hut I will cause these people suck really bad. Screw these crooks I doubt they will be in business for too long they are certified theives who nickel and dime people at every chance. Im expressing my grievances cause I cannot do it while Im in this business I have more integrity than these scum bags these people employ. I really dont give a dam about a response from these people you crooks have gone too dam far.

Lets see...where can i begin! Alot of bad attitudes behind the counter, they always run out of Jerk Chicken, they show preferential treatment to other Jamaicans, they always close waaay before the time theyre supposed to, high prices dont match the food portions, flies and roaches, etc! DO NOT GO HERE! GO TO JAMAICA Ds!!! Jamaica Ds is on whole other level and you get more than your moneys worth compared to "No Flavor Spot"!!! ***UPDATE: Attitudes are still horrendous and reprehensible!!! I made the mistake of coming here because I live close by and was extremely hungry...but NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!! The dark skinned husky guy who closes often should not work there at all!!! His attitude and disposition SUCKS!!! He doesnt know how to talk to people and conduct himself AT ALL!!! THERE ARE BETTER JAMAICAN FOOD SPOTS!!! DO NOT...I REPEAT...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY COMING HERE!!! AVOID "THE SOUR, BITTER, NASTY, FLAVOR SPOT" AT ALL COST!!!

The food here is really good, I wanna say it opened in 2010 or early 2011 because I worked at an Elementary school around the corner. This was the spot me and my co workers always frequented. Moving back to Philly the food is still bomb and worth the ride from West Philly to get some. Gave my sister visiting from Indiana a taste the other day and she said it was bomb

I rescind on my previous review the price at this place goes up way to often... too much price increase its ridiculous. A small Goat went from 9 to 11 dollars in a short span Im boggled. Price for a small goat will soon reach 20$, thats why I go to Quality Taste on Lancaster they dont skimp and the price is steady and way cheaper.

Poor customer service, appeared that food service worker was biting open a bag of food with his teeth in the back where food is prepared. Food tasted okay, but ehh who wants to eat after mediocre counter customer service and questionable habits of employees in the back that prepare the food.No plans to visit again.

The food is great, its always hot and bursting with flavor. The ladies that take your order are always kind and respectful. They say Thank You when you make your purchase and you feel appreciated as a customer. Ive been to other places, but this is definitely my go to spot for Jamaican food.
