If I could give this place 0 stars, I would have. We have been going to this place for years after Rib-it closed down in the area. We used to order the beef ribs he-man racks and the portions were generous. About a year ago they had warned us that they had changed the portions of the platters. That shouldve been a red flag for me. They claimed it was better quality meat and you still got a lot. We used to get everything in tin foil trays. The portions were huge. The last time we ordered the he-man rack, those bastards literally robbed us. If I wouldve checked and saw the size of those tiny beef ribs, I would not have purchased it PERIOD! Everything was literally half the size of what it used to be, including the baked potatoes. The bones on the ribs were tiny and honestly the rib meat was average as it used to be. Theres a reason there are 5 star ratings on here without any explanation. to make up for the unsatisfied costumers who gave lower ones whom noticed the drastic changes of the portions. Its bad enough they took the onion loaf off the menu, and now this hogwash?!?!? Stay away from this place! I dont know if the management changed or what. But theyve lost a customer forever! Ill go to NY for some beef ribs from now on. They have plenty of places. Anytime a person has to travel to another city for something in my city shouldve provided, then you know its pretty bad! Id rather take the Acela to Manhattan round trip and pay for my meal and spend that amount of money than to ever eat here again!

I have been a rib rack customer for over 10 years. They ,at one time had 2 restaurants- I started going to the one in Elkins Park, it was close to a relatives home. We always got the grilled chicken salad and the portions were great and the quality of food was impeccable- hence my long following. They closed that site and only have original place. I have frequented them several times per year due to the distance instead of monthly. TODAY I ordered $27.00 worth of salad -that is 2 salads- and could not find the chicken- its size is small and the meat is tough! When I called they would not give me any credit unless I came in with the salads- I live 25 minutes away! I told the manager this at the inception of the converstion. They just DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.. ThE OWNER WOULD NOT EVEN GET ON THE PHONE. THEY do NOT stand behind the food and dont care. I WILL NOT be making the out of the way trip for WHAT WAS ONCE MY FAVORITE SALAD EVER!

good food but HORRIBLE service, from wait staff to manager to owner. Have been there many times and always get their early bird special of 2 big beef ribs and bbq chicken. Well tonight, there were no big ribs at all. came out with a mini short beef rib. 4 little ones and when I questioned it, everyone said, it is the same as 2 big ones- Sorry it was not and when we spoke with the manager- The kitchen says it is the same and walked away. Owner came in and said "this is more meat than 2 ribs". firstly,. the server did not mention to us that it would be tiny short ribs and took away our choice and by the time they came out and we spoke to the manager, it was rush hour and we were 45 minutes from home. For a small mom and pop place, they do not have any customer service. Will never eat there again.. no offer of discount, more ribs or "how can I make this better for you".

I visited Rib Rack the other day for the early bird special. Like Michelle, I was surprised to see that the plate had 4 short ribs instead of 2 large ribs. I asked the server if this was going to be the norm from here on out because the 4 ribs had more meat than the 2 I am used to. I dont know what Michelle is complaining about. For $7.79, one gets 4 ribs, 2 pieces of chicken, french fries and cole slaw. Where else are you going to get that for that price? A McDonalds combo meal costs more than that with their glorious pink slime burgers and greasy fries. Maybe she should have ordered off the regular menu instead of complaining. I bet she ate the whole plate anyways then complained after the fact. Another freeloader crying about nothing. Rib Rack rules!

While the ambiance may not be ideal- Rib Rack is the best. Hands down. If I ever had to choose a last meal? You better believe its coming from here. Ive been ordering the same meal for the past 15+ years. Buffalo wings- meaty, crispy, and in a delicious spicy ( but not too spicy) sauce. Salads with homemade dressings are fantastic. The caesar is great, and I love the house dressing. The piece de la resistance is the bbq baby back ribs, side of stuffing, and coleslaw. Paired with the unbelievable corn muffins....there are no words. Its been exactly the same since the day I first stepped foot into the restaurant that I love. My family lives quite far and well sometimes pick up takeout. Even reheated, the food is delicious. Rib Rack is simply the best.

Tonight I brought my girlfriend there for the first time. With us both in the restaurant industry we are very hard to please... but from the time we sat down we were both very impressed Danielle was our waitress she was great very attentive and informative you know we had questions .... we both followed her suggestions ..... started with a Caesar salad with homemade dressing .... omg it was the best dressing I ever had honestly then she brought over hot corn muffins.... followed by our meals she had the baby back ribs and chicken combo and I had the petite new York strip 9oz. Everything was seasoned and good perfectly.... Thank you so much for an amazing meal we will be back. This place is definitely a hidden gem in the area!

They do make good ribs. I get the chicken & babyback rib combo with steak fries. Customer service has always been good to me. Yes its somewhat dark inside like other patrons have said but it hasnt bothered me over the years. Not a big deal to me. Mostly, I order takeout. Havent tried much else on the menu and I only like the steak fries as my side item. This spot has been consistent. Kudos to the owner for keeping steady despite neighborhood changes and new eating options in the area. Good Northeast Philly option.

I just want to say, I have been eating at the Ribrack for over 20 years. We love their ribs and their wings. My wife wont eat ribs anywhere else. The owner is always so nice and the employees as well. We have taken friends there for years and they agree "Amazing". I say best in the Phila/NJ/ Delaware area. I thought of asking him if I could open one up in our area. We drive over 1/2 hour to go there, but it is worth it every time. Best Baby Back Ribs ever. Blessings Randy n Rita

Very low light & intimate, customer service is regular no issues. But the food is amazing every time! This is definitely an affordable "goto regularly" kinda place. The menu is easy to read, the food is always served hot & fresh tasting, honestly never a taste of refrigeration or staleness. Ribs & wings are our fav but everything is good! We recently ordered the chocolate moose for dessert and again very fresh tasting & delicious!
