My review from Facebook and Yelp: Not a bad selection of beer but Im surprised to still see pumpkin beers here in early December. This establishment definitely caters to craft beer and more common beers equally which is good for picky friends who want variety where all are happy. They could however check a few more distributors for a wider variety but of course you should carry what sells in a place of this location. Local beers are the recomended crafts to carry here but most of the regulars I see tonight have Miller or Coors and Yuengling. I have no complaints because everyone is happy in the end. The place is very clean and the people seem to be working class and the bar itself is very large compared to other establishments in Philadelphia. They do live music and sometimes a DJ. They also have an app enabled juke box so all music is welcome. Parking is a wreck but you can usually find a reasonable spot off the lot which maybe holds 15 cars. They also have about 8 TVs for your typical sports at this Irish themed pub on Frankford Ave. Now all I need is to try the food. Im writing this as I listen to the band my friend is in at the bar. I personally rate this a 4 because while it caters to all they could attract others and nobody is honestly perfect. Thanks for a start to a great night and I hope to be back again one day.

We rented the space downstairs for a surprise anniversary party for 40 people. Everything was top notch! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the space was perfect for us, there is a separate bar and restroom so our guests did not have to continuously go upstairs, and the food was really really good. The price we paid was beyond reasonable for all we got. I would absolutely come back here anytime for future events and plan to come hang out at the bar sometime very soon. Thank you guys so much for a wonderful time!

What do you look for in a neighborhood bar? I always want a place with a good beer selection, friendly knowledgable staff, hot food, and most important A CLEAN BATHROOM!!! Pub 36 knocked it out of the park. I will be back for sure. I think I found my new bar!

Great Meatball sub. Best Fries I ever had. Seriously. Large portions, crispy and tasty. Something about the coating makes it a step above pub food. A dozen beers on tap. Plenty of seating at the bar and on the floor. Must try.

Food here is legit. Service is pretty consistent and the crowd, though small, is usually pretty good. A lot of cops and firefighters go here, so if for some reason you dont like that, then dont go.

I saw a live band here and it was awesome, I never had to wait for a drink the cute red headed bartender kept them coming. Me and all my girlfriends are going back on Saturday night.
