My review is actually for Front Street Dive which is located inside Victoria Freehouse upstairs. This jawn was so cool! Its a cozy little joint situated above a larger bar, so I feel bad like people may not know its there, and they should! I came out for karaoke and met the owner/bartender, who basically was the best from the start. The drinks have great prices, and the tacos are bangin; like, theyre just what you need for a night out, and dirt cheap at $2! The crowd was hip, and like packed but not so tight you couldnt breathe. Ima be coming back to this place on a weekly basis!

I want to trays this place higher but the Harry Potter music played super loud for an hour was unbearable. They blasted classic music (Harry potter piano) 2 hours ahead of a Harry Potter trivia night. I picked up a grub hub coupon they had on display and left because I could not eat my fish and chips to epic Harry Potter music. However, when I logged into grubhub at 11:30pm with a delivery address in old city they where not listed as a restaurant that delivered

The Victoria Freehouse is cool but the Front Street Dive on the second floor of it is where its really happening!! The second floor, The Front Street Dive, hosts an open mic night every Wednesday that attracts tons of talented comedians. On Saturdays or Fridays theres always an awesome party going on thats popular with the college crowd. The bartender is very friendly and flirty which is fun. And theres no cover for any of these nights!!

I was torn between eating at a German restaurant, a Cuban restaurant, and this one. I decided on the Victoria Freehouse and was glad that I did. The food was excellent. The service was friendly and quick. The decor and charm of the establishment made it worth sitting around and ordering another British soda. I will definitely try to go back at some point in the future whenever I am in the Philadelphia area.

Everything 5 star from the food, atmosphere, servers, drinks, beer, and not to mention Burlesque every Monday night from 10pm-12. For starters try the bacon wrapped dates!! For the main course try the burger, Mac and cheese, curry cheese fries, for dessert: fried Mars bar. For drink try the Earl Grey or the Carlsburg beer

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Great staff, nice atmosphere. British pub grub at its finest. The bacon wrapped dates appetizer sound odd, but wow are they good. Blue cheese stuffed fresh dates wrapped with bacon... mmmmm... The curry cheese chips are also well worth checking out.

Really sad that my fiancé and I thought to stop by this place on our last night in town. Best food we had in Philly, by far - definitely try the rarebit, sausage roll with homemade mustard, and the pumpkin ginger soup. So good. Cant wait to go back again on our next visit! Thank you, Rita!

Wonderful British pub. Food is great and authentic with a great selection of British ales. They even have two cask ales on tap. Great atmosphere and wonderful wait staff. You must try this place, specially on Saturdays when they have the premier league soccer games on the TV.

Best time to go: weekdays 5-7, happy hour. The pub food is half off, STRAIGHT DOPE (Ive tried em all; curry fries and dates are my faves). Beer special as well. I always leave happy, full and drunk. Dont drink and drive! (But do have a good time!)

Not a bad place, but nothing too impressive. Beer selection is heavily English, and there are some more uncommon choices, which is nice. Food is good, although it can be a little expensive. Its a decently large place, good for groups.

Love this place, had fish and chips, better than the ones I had in Dublin. Dessert is excellent, caramel covered date cake, oh yeah. Went back to order dessert to go the next day. Staff very nice, friendly.

Holy Bajeesus, Fullers on tap. All imports. No crap beer. Bangers and mash are great. Scotch egg. Curry cheese chips. Push me over with a light breeze. This is my favorite pub in Philly.

Good food and service. I ate there a few times over a week, one evening the salad I had was not fresh and had some rotten lettuce in it. That was my only complaint though. Decent prices too.

I consider myself lucky to have this place within walking distance. Quiet enough to have a conversation. Always a good beer selection. Best staff. Food is always beyond my expectations.

Great place. We went on the tippler tour (bar crawl) and this place was so fun we came back for dinner. Food was great, beer was great, atmosphere was great. What more could you want?

Love the curry cheese chips, very similar to what they serve in England and Ireland. We looked the place up after we came back from a trip and were craving more curry fries!

It was kind of dead when I got there, only a couple people were in the room, I was there as part of a pub crawl, and they were the building furthest away from the rest.

Great brewpub from Victory. Beautiful dining area with amazing food and excellent draft options. Their flight program is very reasonable as well.

The pub food is tasty and the selection of drinks, along with the service, is excellent. My suggestion would be the chicken and mushroom pie.

The food is good, it is a bit pricey but I got a Groupon from them of 2016. So if I was to go again it would be because of a Groupon

Great faux Brit atmosphere, tasty pub food and a great ale selection. Cant go wrong. Only downside: wrong sport on the Telly.

Saw a mouse when we were there and their "best" fish & chips had such a weird smell, we couldnt eat it. Never going back.

Very cool selection of Brit brews, bottle and draft. Food was not bad, somewhat Blighty traditional.
