Ive been lucky with most of my pho restaurant choices but I struck out with this place. First of all, the pho is more expensive than most other places. I like to get extra beef and noodles with almost all my pho orders but this place charges $2.50 for noodles?!?! And $3 for beef? They give you such a small portion as it is, but if you want to make it a size comparable to other restaurants, you have to essentially double the cost? It was the first time I ever finished the entire bowl, soup and everything, and still left dissatisfied with hunger. Secondly, the ingredients were subpar. The rare beef was not of good quality. Lastly, this is a little thing, but no fortune cookie at the end? A restaurant is all about the little things and the owners never seemed happy to serve me. So with the combination of poor service and poor food, this unfortunately goes down as my worst pho experience.

The Avacado Milkshakes are the best in Philadelphia. They give you the choice of tapioca too, which is awesome if your not into it, like me. The Pho is hot and plentiful. Nothing particularly special about it. Fresh deliscious sides. The waiters are always laid back and gracious with the Pho add ins. Whether your sitting inside or outside someone is always around to refill your water or get you anything you might need(but you really wont need much). Also, I get an order of fried spring rolls, which sometimes can be a tad on the greasy side, but are always a nice good. Ive only ordered take out once, over the phone, and I had a mix up of my spring rolls. they told me to come back and they would give me my correct order. i didnt even have to bring what they gave me back. Very nice people. very apologetic. Definately worth a try.

I love Pho. I especially love Pho in the fall. So i came to this establishment after trick or treating in the neighborhood. I ordered the #17 with tripe, tendon, and sirloin that i shared with my 2 year old daughter. The food was delicious. ..until i drove home. My daughter immediately threw up everything shed just eaten all over the back seat. My stomach troubles started the following day, vomiting and runny diarrhea. Today its 5 days later and Im still sick. Im currently writing this review from the bathroom. Eat at your own risk. I will not be going back!

There is something about their char-grilled pork bun thats absolutely delicious. I simply cant get enough of it. In fact after I left the area, I still cant find anything like it. I was some what of an occasional lonesome customer ordering the same dish. I left the Philadelphia area, and 1 year later, I came back to order the same dish. As soon as I sat down and the lady (owner?) came to take my order, she simply asked..."Number 27?" I was floored. 1 year later she still remembered?!?! or was it a lucky guess. Either way, pretty damn impressive.

This place has, quite simply, the best Avocado Milk Shake I have ever had the pleasure to experience. When chosen with "Black Pearl" (aka large tapioca balls) it is particularly Divine. The concoction is somehow simultaneously sweet (but not too sweet) with overtones of savory. I am officially addicted to them. The fact the they also serve up great Pho and other tasty dishes rounds out the whole experience. Sure not to disappoint.

Not enough pho, broth ok not as flavorful as others tasted. Got the beef tripe with chicken. Just not enough. Chicken was bland. Beef was good but only received 3 pcs. Talk about stingy lol. It also cost more than other pho places for less food. Good wrapping for to go and did not spill.

This is a University CIty favorite! The service is quick and friendly. I always get pho, which is #19 on the menu. Go early on Sundays because it is sure to be crowded. They only accept cash and are closed on Mondays.

Everything Ive had on their menu is awesome, from the milkshakes to the pho to the salad. So glad I live down the street! They will modify anything to your liking and are always very polite and courteous.

Cheap, and fast Vietnamese food. Gets the job done when you dont wanna schlep and pay for Vietnam Cafe or want to venture to South Philly for the best. They have really good ice coffee surprisingly.

Overpriced for mediocre pho with bland meat. Server was not friendly first when I tried to have small talk about food. Then he showed an attitude when we left not tipping
