This is not a dive bar. This is a cozy neighborhood bar with the nicest and most knowledgeable bartender Ive met. He treats you like an old friend the moment you walk in. The cocktails are amazing and the beer list is full of brews that even the adventurous beer fan wont recognize. Every Philadelphian should visit Fiume at least once, and their lives will be better for it. Make sure to go on a Thursday for the live bluegrass.

This spot is great for anyone who is a beer enthusiast. They have over 150 options, a lot are beers you may not find anywhere else in the area. The bartender is eager to help you find the right drink and a great conversationalist. The room is small and relaxing, feels like one giant collage. The only minor downfalls are cash only and higher (but fair for the quality) drink prices.

This is a small dive bar located upstairs from Abyssinia. Belive it or not, live music is played here and there is an amazing beer selection. You can order food from Abyssinia and eat it upstairs. Warning: in the summer, it can get really hot in that small room and become really fragrant. If you like open spaces, this bar is not for you.

Every Thursday and Sunday night is music (typically blue Grass, folk or dixie). The bar tenders are extremely friendly and dont mind recommending something or just giving you a little info about your drink. It gets packed very easily so arrive early to stake out a spot.

Great selection of house made cocktails and a simply fantastic selection of beers. The only problem is that the bar is rather small, and seating is sometimes an issue. But besides that its incredible and easily one of my favorite bars.
