Went into this restaurant with high expectations and even higher recommendations. Easily the worst culinary experience ever. First, the waiter stood dumbstruck when we asked for coffee. He blankly said.." I do not know how to make coffee." We actually thought he was kidding, but his slackjawed repetition of the same phrase indicated that he indeed did now know how to make the mysterious beverage know as coffee. Cheese blintzes ordered...NO CHEESE, the menu says that is comes with strawberries.... No strawberries in sight. When the OWNER was asked, he said No fresh strawberries,,, that was it. He then asked if we wanted syrup on it..... We asked for a banana instead, he yelled, Do you want me to cut it for you? Gets way way better. The fallafel plate arrived with a few of the menu advertised ingredients missing. I will admit it was tasty even though the portions were so small it was a joke, for the bargain price of $10!!!!! We had to ask twice for water with lukewarm water showed up eventually.... Ice is apparently an endangered species in this restaurant. When I went to pay for said ridiculous lunch, I was asked by the owner what did I had. I listed the items along with the missing cheese and bits and pieces missing from my allaged falaffel platter. His response???? $28.50, exactly what the menued price was.. No apology, no nothing... No tip. Beware people, this guy clearly does not care at all about repeat business. Perhaps another line of business should be considered by the owner for alleged restaurant.

Hands down the best falafels ever!! (Dont be scared off by the green colour of it) The service was super friendly and homey The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Even when it was my fault, for forgetting to tell them to leave out onions from the salad, they happily re-made one for me. There is also a daily mincha minyan at 1:45 which was an added bonus to our trip. The pace is clean, toilet is clean and there is plenty of soap. Just Ask for paper towels if there are none. Ps. Beware The mozzarella sticks are addictive (probably due to the sesame in the breading).

Service #1 , Food #1, Atmosphere #1 Just an amazing amazing place! I want to go here everyday of the week! I loved how fresh the food taste! I felt like I was at home. The waiter let me try difference things... Gave me a history lesson... and I met the Injury lawyer Allen Rothenberg. The best waiter in the world. His birthday is August 23. Remember to support Espresso Cafe & Sushi Bar

Nice location for families looking for kosher meal in Philadelphia area. Food was plentiful and delicious, price was reasonable. They have a very rich menu and even made us garlic bread for our picky kid, even though its no on the menu. Service was nice, waiter very helpful. We had a great meal!
