Empire diner is a wonderful place to dine for all occasions. All denomination churches come and eat on Sunday. They give you nice portion of food, and you can take left overs. I always recommend everyone, I know to visit the diner. Food is very good, service is excellent. The staff is excellent, polite, well trained, wonderful personality and professional. I had one bad experience out of the past 5 years that Ihave been dinning at the Empire. The owner I see on Sunday evening is always very nice, and know his customers by there face and he really knows the Bishops and Pastors that bring there members to dine. And thats what you called an excellent business person!

Food is always good here; however, this visit I saw three roaches near the bathroom area (which is also located near the dishwashing room and kitchen), as I waited for my son to come out of the mens room. My server walked into the restroom, and I heard a flush two seconds before she exited the ladies room!! When did she wash her hands???? Needles to say, my appetite was completely ruined, and I didnt eat anything else while I was there. I have patronized this diner for many years, and although what was experienced this visit was uncommon, I dont believe I will be back for sometime.

The server was friendly and helpful the cashier was not so friendly I paid with my credit card and wanted to give the server the tip that I left in her hand 99 percent of the time I leave the tip with cash money but I didnt have cash today the cashier said she would get the cash at the end of her shift. If you took the money off of my card I should have been able to give the server the cash in her hand myself. It is not the cashiers money l should have been able to give the server the tip so she can put the face with the tip and say thank you which goes a long way.

The place is located across from Autozone. Plenty parking spaces especially in the back. The entrance has a large display of sweets. The atmosphere is clean. We had breakfast sampler and meat lovers plate. Eggs are in the small portion size. Sausages werent too salty but bland, little bit of dripping of water. I cant tell if it was steamed or fried. French toast was however good, not too soggy. Poached eggs were a bit of disappointment. Yolks were too runny and difficult to eat without making a mess. Waitstaff was kind and attentive.

Have been going here for years and always satisfied. However, last night was the worst service I have ever received. Waited 15 minutes for food (eggs and bacon) never got my drink (even though asked twice for it) until I had eaten have of the meal and the toast came after I had finished (again had to ask twice for it).The server spent most of the time talking and laughing with the other servers and had to be called by my husband a few times. Place wasnt crowded and the owner/manager wasnt there.

VERY BUSY! Nevertheless, the management accomodated my family and I on a day of mourning. We were a party of 15+ re-connecting relatives following a funeral service. The staff never once hassled us about concluding our visit...not even indirectly. It was so wonderful touching base with long-lost family, and being allowed to do so over a delicious bacon cheeseburger with crispy fries. Thank you, Empire Diner!

Food was HORRIBLE! I just left and Im so disappointed. I ordered a roast beef sandwich and it was glued to teeth! I literally had to wipe it out of my mouth and off my gums! I ordered a childrens roasted turkey for my son and it was served over soggy bread with raisins. Just disgusting, entirely over priced food. I will NEVER EVER go back. Youre better off going to the McDonalds across the street!

Empire Diner has a lengthy menu and foods I wouldnt expect them to have. At least 8 different kinds of omlets, corned beef hash, and (I believe) turkey sausage. They also had delicious pancakes. They do serve dinner foods but I usually get breakfast. The portions for some entrees get to be alittle large but still a good price. Definitely a place worth checking out.

I am a regular customer here at the diner so I pretty much understand the process and wait time but on my last visit I waited a hour for my food to be delivered only to receive a overly seasoned overcooked steak. Im usually not bothered by the time but like I mentioned , a hour for the wrong food is certainly not making things better . This will be my last visit.

The service was good and friendly, although a bit slow but I think its because our waitress section was too big. She had too many tables and several with parties of 5 or more. The food was decent, one person in my party has the beef tips and said they were too salty and sent it back. The desserts are amazing. Its worth going there for desserts alone.

Yoooo this restaurant is the best!! their food is banging ive only been ther once and fell in love good food, good price, great desserts, and really nice and friendly workers u wouldnt feel bad about living them a good tip !like this is the place for everybody friends, couple, anniversary, birthday ...everything!!!! they are soo gooooooood :)

This place is a serious hit and miss, Ive tried it several times. Ive had good experiences with the food and service but Ive also had terrible experiences. After several tries I would say that the best items to try would be the breakfast menu and the meat, steak specials. Avoid the seafood platters and hoagies, they are just not worth it.

I dined here at 1am on a Saturday morning. The service was ok. But the food was disgusting. I had fried whiting and waffles. The fish had this thick crust and tasted and smelled so fishy I lost my appetite. The waffle had a bad taste to it hard to describe but needless to say I came in hungry and left the same way

Management SUCKS!!!! My waitress was great. I had an issue with my food and the manager tried to tell me whats the problem, I asked him would he eat it? He didnt apologize and still tried to charge me. Thanks to my waitress he didnt get all the way cussed out and then knocked out. Yes he was that nasty SMH.

Exactly what youd expect from a diner. My family dines here often for their breakfast which is very good, I cannot recommend dinner items outside of burgers. Many times the service has been fast but this changes from server to server. Convenient location with ample parking and theyre open 24 hours.

this place fell off. the quality of the food isnt the same as it was years ago. the pancakes are horrible. you can taste eggs in them. the sausage is a cheap quality. they dont cook the onions in your food as you request. they just put them on top of your food. were going to find a new diner.

The waitress was friendly and fast, Jen I believe, but the food was over cooked and for the price of my meal I expected management to be a little understanding or should I say more professional. Ive dined here many times and always a pleasant experience but this time not at all.
