After visiting another Korean fried chicken venue with friends who also took me to this one I was very skeptical. What that other place had against it this place has the opposite, making for an amazing experience. The staff are all SUPER friendly and helpful. The place is clean and smells great. The decor is modern but not over the top. The food was delicious, the portions were large and the price was moderate! For $8.99 for lunch I had 8 chicken tenders with the garlic sauce, which included a side of pickled daikon. $1.99 for a side of rice is a bit OTT but not the end of the world. I did order an iced tea and ended up with a bottled green teen jawn for $3.99 that was far more than I would have normally paid, so ask up front about drink prices before ordering. My friends ordered their own chicken as well as calamari and another large starter the name of which escapes me, but they were incredibly pleased. They also had a watermelon liquor, a full carafe for $20, which they loved. Seriously, this place is a win/win on every level.

The chicken are fine, but the two girls at the reception desk have Very Very bad attitude. I ordered through Seamless and it told me the order will be ready by 7pm, but I waited almost 40 minutes longer and it was still not ready. Then the hostess told me that the order had not been input to the system at all ! And she raised her voice at me as if it was my fault. She never even apologized once, just kept saying its not her fault and she didnt know or care whose fault it is. She literally said "its the kitchen, not me, so dont ask me about your order." Wow. Dont visit this place if you dont want to waste your time on the forever waiting -- and after that you would still get bad attitude from them without a proper apology. Seamless/Grubhub should seriously review their cooperation too. About the food: the chicken wings are OK. Salad is very expensive for the small size. Everything is overpriced compared to NYC Korean town and Cafe Soho. To be honest, if you have a car, just drive to Cafe Soho and it will actually save you time.

If you like really spice, burning mouth, juicy wings Bonchon is the place. They also have the option of a soy and garlic but I personally was not a fan because the after taste kinda of got to me. With the wing you get an order of radish that had a pickle like taste. I really wish there were more options for the wing flavor or even have a plain option. Service was good, but took around 45minutes for our order of 30 wings to arrive. So if your in a group and order 30 to share, do not go if your starving because the music videos of these pop Asian star will drive you crazy (music videos were really good tho). When you get in the restaurant there is some seating and bar on the lower level and the rest of the seating is on the second level. But overall its a cool spot, just be prepared for the small options for wings, however they had other stuff on the menu that looked really good.

This is my second time here and I ordered fried rice. The rice had all this black specs on in I thought it was maybe the spices but it is more likely burnt remnants from the pan or the coating from the pan. Like it was literally all throughout the rice and when I take it home I stir it around and notice that it is not at the bottom of the rice. So which leads me to believe they scraped the pan. Will be looking into the health department to see about this. No way in hell my rice should look like this when it did not the first time. Plus all servers should wear hats nice hair cover it or get another job. No one probably has a Serv Safe certification up in there. Two stars because the chicken is good and too of that there were burnt black pieces and extra crispy pieces of chicken in the rice like no one gave a hot damn about the food they were fixing. Will add a photo

Overwhelmed waitstaff and kitchen ruined the afternoon. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes to be greeted, by our server. After the order was placed, it took 20 minutes for my girlfriends salad to come out. My lunch didnt come and I told them to cancel it, because my girlfriend was finished with her salad. I dont mind if a restaurant is busy, but they need to communicate delays with your guests, which they didnt. Dont send out one of two meals out, with a 20+ minute window before the other goes out. Your guests shouldnt sit wondering, whats going on. Restaurants get slammed all the time. Being able to handle the chaos is how the good ones survive. Good food doesnt matter if you cant get it to the table

There is a runaway trolley barreling down the railway tracks. Ahead, on the tracks, there are five people tied up and unable to move. The trolley is headed straight for them. You are standing some distance off in the train yard, next to a lever. If you pull this lever, the trolley will switch to a different set of tracks. However, you notice that there is one person on the side track. You have two options: Do nothing, and the trolley kills the five people on the main track. Pull the lever, diverting the trolley onto the side track where it will kill one person. Which is the most ethical choice? Also, chickens pretty good

This is my favorite place to eat! Im always asking my boyfriend to go eat here, but the only problem is theres no parking downtown! The service is great, and the food is amazing. I tend to order wings, fried rice, and kimchi. I mix the kimchi and fried rice together to have kimchi fried rice, which is my favorite Korean dish. We also tend to get Soju, which is an alcoholic beverage. Last time we got the one that was lychi flavored. And yes, I eat all my food. I eat the wings and the kimchi together and whatever is leftover I take it home and eat some more. What can I say? This is my favorite place!

Bonchon is my go to when I go to chinatown! I love the delectable fried wings! I am always craving them...and I go quite often. The wings are to-die-for delicious and the staff is always courteous and kind. I have never had a problem with neither food or staff. The atmosphere is great! They play sports and KPOP videos which is always fun! I definitely recommend this place if someone wants to try delicious Korean fried wings! (The other food is great as well, but I just come for the wings, he he!)
