The place seemed full, but we were seated quickly. The server, the owners daughter was also quick to get our drinks and take our order. The breakfast we ordered did not take long to appear. The omelette I had was delicious, complimented by the great coffee & OJ. The owner introduced himself and was very friendly. I love the 50s decor, but theres little signs of wear & tear, here and there. It does not detract from the experience. Service with a smile is a true "gem" in todays world.

I have been eating, at Jems, for years. I have never found it to be dirty! I am a clean freak, and I would not have continued to dine there, if the place was not clean. The food is always good, and they make great coffee. Servers have always been friendly. They are always busy for breakfast and lunch! That alone should speak for the quality of the food and service.

I want to love this place so much. Super friendly, great vibe, the owner is awesome, and both times the food was great. But... A cockroach crawled off of the coffee carafe and around my table! I looked up the species on the Terminix website and it seems it was a German roach, they are a but smaller.. but still roaches . Im sorry, but I cant ever go back.

Friendly and delicious would be an understatement. I stumbled into this gem as a new resident of the community and I am thankful I did. The owner introduced himself and the staff followed suit. Very genuine and authentic approach, all around textbook operation. A+ Thank you Jem, Steven C. Strauser

Place sucks when the waitress finally come to take our order she was in such a hurry to run away even before I was done giving my order terrible service and the boot that we satin was also very nasty at got stuff on my clothes when I sit down

First couple of times I went with my kids I screwed up the hours they were open. Finally got it right and didnt have a bad experience since. Jem restaurant is small and personable. The food has always been good.
