I went to IHOP today hoping to have a nice brunch with my friend. Let me tell you I regret it. The food overall was good but the service was less than desirable. Our waitress spent more time texting and hanging out with her friends than serving us. We asked her to give us a few more minutes because we were unsure of what we wanted. Twenty minutes later we had to physically get up and call her. Her co-workers were loud also. Having a good time a work is wonderful but being obnoxious and flamboyant about it without thinking of how the costumer feels in the situation is different. We told our waitress that we wanted our meals on separate checks. When we got up to pay she had it on one check and was explaining to us that there was a computer problem. We confronted her about how she told us before that we could pay separately (all you had to do was ring us up separate, I dont understand how hard that is) and she gave us attitude. Meanwhile, we are in this cramped space waiting while she was trying to fix everything and workers were trying to get through us and basically had no standing room. It was poorly planned. After she rung me up she asked my friend if she had cash. She replied no and asked her why. She said the computer wont allow her to ring up her credit card. She said there was a band across the street she could get money from. Really? We were paying with CREDIT CARDS. You cant get cash from a credit card. We asked her for her manager and she refused to call him over so she was trying to guilt trip her into paying with money we didnt have. She then said "Take off and thanks for cashing me out." I wish I never tipped her. After I got home I realized that they had charged me for both meals. Never even having me sign the cards they just went into the computer and charged my account. After I called and confronted the waitress denied it. I physically had to get the manager to come over and tell him what had happened. The waitress had accused me of walking out without paying. Hm, if I just walked out how would you have gotten my card? Well, after talking with the manager he made the waitress pay me back out of her tips (after I threatened to call the cops for illegal charging my account) and she said "Thanks for cashing me out" glared, then walked away. Terrible, terrible service.

The food is good. I have no complaints about the cooks who prepare the food. However, the restaurant needs to be moved to a larger building to accommodate its customers who oftentimes have to wait long periods to simply be seated. This is very much needed in this area since the Main Line area lacks good regular food. Also, it is necessary in order to serve the growing demographic in this area. The seating is the vestibule waiting area is too tight and extremely uncomfortable with strangers breathing down your neck. The inside of the restaurant is outdated. Such as the carpet on the floors are dirty and considerably stained. In addition, the coffee cups and silverware is sometimes unclean. Also, the servers sometimes have poor attitudes. For example, if you simply ask for additional coffee, water, or napkins. It seems like a relentless task for the server to bring a additional item over to the table even when you originally asked yet never received in the fist place. Oftentimes the have attitudes. I never understood this type of behavior since their overall job duties is to simply take your order and place it on the table and maybe perhaps give you a few extra napkins. I will never understand why servers come to work with a poor attitude because poor service equals poor tip.

I went on a Sunday around noon and there was a wait with other customers waiting for tables. So we put our name down with the hostess. There were other couples who came after us that she seated ahead of us. First one couple, then a three top and then two more couples so we tell her nicely that we think you skipped our names because other customers after us are being seated. No apologies or anything. She just said okay theres another table for two for you. No smile. Just rude. Not apologetic at all. The waitstaff however was very friendly.

The visit started well. Waited only a few minutes to be seated. Asked for soft (runny) scrambled eggs. My eggs were scrambled hard. Waitress was great by taking back the eggs. After waiting 20 minutes the eggs came back hard. I was almost finished my breakfast. I did not return the eggs. I decided to not eat them. Once I recieved the bill, I tried to redeem my Groupon. At that time, I was informed the manager will not redeem the coupon. "Only 69th st take Groupons." I will not return to this establishment.

The one girl that works here was so rude and angry looking. We arrived almost an hour and half before close and they were flipping chairs onto tables while half the resteraunt was still filled. It took so long for our waitress to even take our order. On top of that she brought my plate out and said it was sitting out too long and that my girlfriends food is still not ready, and they forgot my hasbrowns and were going to charge me for it. Very dissapointing.

I was not happy with my visit, today. I thought going for a nice birthday breakfast would be nice but my silverware was extremely dirty and sticky from someone elses syrup. I asked for another set and that was more nasty than the first set. This lead me to believe the plate and cup I was going to drink from would not be clean and I couldnt stomach the thought of eating from dirty dish, so my family and I left. This was very disappointing.

IHOP is a stand-by favorite. You know what to expect, and you always get it. The staff at this particular IHOP are always friendly and do the best they can in the tight quarters. Indeed, this is really the only drawback for this location--the seating is very limited, and as a result, the wait is very long on a weekend morning.

The food was decent for a chain. The waitress... ( VERY VERY DISORGANIZED!! ) needs to go home & call it a day permanently. Too much chatter and mumbles so much that you can barely understand what shes jabbering about anyway.. And she had difficulty doing simple math when trying to figure out change due, upon paying my tab..

We waiting for a half hour to be seated. We watched the two table with dishes on them stay that way until we left. Our waiter than bought us our bill will we were still eating. He charged me for an orange juice that I never received. This is a very small place if find it hard to believe this is how business is ran today

The food is just ok. And the worst part was the people. The server was ok but the manager was disrespectful and just not a nice person. And you could tell he wasnt very good at managing because it was dirty and disorganized also. So all together, I will never go there again. And dont think anyone else should.
