My 4th time there and the service and food keeps impressing me. Today I ordered the daily specials of veal marsala. Not only was it delicious, but it was a giant portion. Most places only give you one or two veal cutlets, they gave me four! Me and my fiancee also split a flatbread as an appetizer. We had the sausage and pepper flatbread. Again the portion was large enough to be an appetizer for 4 people and still fill them. The service itself was good as well. The waiter, Camrin was polite, got us everything we asked, and even left extra water on the table for us. He even gave us a side of icecream with our pie slice we split for dessert. Best peanut butter pie I had in my life btw, I took pictures to upload but wasnt an option. It was perfect, that is all that can be said about it. Though I do have one critique. The appetizers and deserts should come garnished a little better. I have had the homemade tots one, but all I received was 4 tots (though delicious) on a small plate. It should have come with maybe a small cup of sourcream or even some leafy garnish. The pie too was only supposed to be a slice of pie, but that side of icecream our waiter added gave it the perfect touch and complimentary taste. In essence, Van Brunt Grill is by far the best restaurant in the area, and one of the best I have been to in life. It only needs to fine tune minor things, but is worth the visit. It is truly and undiscovered gem.

Fantastic. It is so nice to have a restauraut in the area that serves real food. Not stuff out of the back of the "Sysco" truck. Fresh prepared, simple but absolutely delicious menu. Had the pot pie: WOW! I did not expect to be writing a review on a pot pie, but so good!! Friendly, nice atmosphere. Support local business.

Our first time here. I like Meat Loaf and this was as good as it gets. portions are large and everything was fresh. we will be going back for sure. if you have not been to VAN BRUNT GRILL you are missing out on a great dining experience.
