Service was friendly and atmosphere was homey. I very much wanted to like Kountry Kitchen, but I ended up eating not even 1/4th of my meal and having to get food elsewhere up the road. I ordered the "Chicken & Waffles" from the special menu. Were from the South, and so I have experience with Chicken & Waffles. Ive had it be great, and Ive had it be kind of blah, but the Kountry Kitchen "Chicken & Waffles" registered on the scale at Absolutely Revolting. While attempting to eat it, I literally had the urge to vomit. It was essentially cream of chicken soup with shredded chicken on top of a Motel Continental Breakfast style waffle. It was like an exaggeratedly bad school lunch nightmare. It appeared as if the chef had eaten a bad chicken casserole and then thrown up all over a tasteless waffle. Im not usually this melodramatic, but seriously, Vomit Chicken & Waffles. It wasnt even seasoned. I also had the Spicy Steak Fries as a side, and these, while appearing nicely crisp on the outside, were also not seasoned, let along "spicy". They were also cut as approximately 1/4 of a potato, and so were overly thick, and so were underdone in the middle. Barely past raw, and also inedible. My wife had eggs and bacon. Easy. Except she ordered her eggs sunny-side up. she was unfortunately unable to eat the majority of her eggs, as they were covered with raw albumin on top. Sure, sunny-side up is sometimes a little tricky to get right, but come on. All in all, friendly service, in a beautiful setting, with not just bad, but disgusting food. Please, please, please, take the "Chicken & Waffles" off of your menu. Its truly horrendous, and deceitful to anyone who has had actual Chicken & Waffles.

Went here for the first time to try it out after hearing from many people that its good, My girlfriend and i went in for a nice dinner together, we both ordered pancakes with bacon on the side and two drinks, the prices were high for just two pancakes and 3 small fatty strips of bacon, just about $7 for two pancakes and bacon , the total bill was around $18, My girlfriend and i both left still hungry because of how small the pancakes and bacon was, "my girlfriend dont even eat that much shes skinny and weighs around 95 lbs", after we left, we both decided we would never go here again. I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody unless you like to waste money.

This is seriously the best all around restaurant Ive ever eaten at. The staff is friendly and the owner sincerely appreciates your business. I have not had anything that wasnt amazing. The Burgers are the best Ive had and I travel North America. But the best thing on the menu is the Pecan Sticky Bun Sunday!!! You must stop in for a burger and the sundae. You wont be disappointed.

Ordered the combo breakfast with an upcharge to have the cinnamon roll pancakes. Everything was served fresh and hot. The bacon was perfectly served with the right crispness and flavor. Charming place on the rolling PA road. Definitely recommend and I am going to try the many variations of poached eggs. Friendly.

Good food, great prices but service was bad. To be fair we seemed to get the only bad server, everyone else seemed good. Also the manger or owner was reprimanding an employee (an assistant manager I think) in the open infront of guests. Thats just bad leadership 101.

Terrible wings they were raw this restraunt went down hill fast when the owner sold to the ones before him. They also charged a guy full hamburger meal price for just a patty. This restraunt is horrible and is a recipe for food posioning they need a wake up call!!!!

Never a bad experience. Sometimes the food is a little over cooked but theyre often very busy for such a small establishment so I write off. Staff is always friendly and the price is good. I always feel very welcomed when I take my kids for breakfast.

In the area for work this is the first local diner that I agree with the negative ratings and comments. Ordered the special terrible to say the least and grossly over cooked and priced for what I got. Apparently even condiments are an extra charge.

Our soccer team was in town for a tournament. We ALL ordered! Kountry Kitchen had it ready in under 30 minutes and they got it right! Made from scratch recipes, great wings, great friendly service! Great pricing!

I love this place. They always have something new and exciting to try. If youre not as adventurous they have a very solid menu of staples that are incredible and satisfying. Youll really love the desserts too.

Ive been coming here for years. The food is awesome, the prices are reasonable and the staff is top notch. I was happy to bring my young kids because the kids breakfast is perfectly proportioned.
