We have eaten there twice. On both occasions when eating a chicken dish, one of my party became violently ill. If you are traveling: McDonalds is cheaper and you are less likely to vomit. If you live in the Harrisburg Area, there are better quality restaurants that are at the same expense. Curious how many "Perkins" employees are posting on these reviews. 5 stars? Either these people dont get out much or they have no taste buds. The best a "chain" could ever be is "Okay" - never 5 starts.

I have been eating at Perkins for about three years. When my company was near them (about 2 years), I ate there 2 or 3 times a week, for lunch. I always love their food, and my absolute favorite is the pumpkin pancakes (seasonal). They also have excellent chicken pot pie (the crust is melt-in-your-mouth flaky), delicious salmon, and a yummy Mediterranean omelet for a vegetarian option!

Our server Brittany was great and so polite. Food was great also. Tom, the manager, took the time to make the dining area temp a little warmer for guests coming in. I thought that was sweet since it was early in the morning & little chilly outside. We felt very welcomed there (were from VA and didnt know what to expect). Id recommend their breakfast for a good start to the day.

Perkins is one of the better values for breakfast in the area. Their menu features a wider selection of items than the diners in the local area and most breakfast selections include pancakes as well. I would also say the quality of the breakfast is better than the local diners - they are mediocre at best.

Came here once before and food was great. The next time (today) ordered the same meal and the french toast tasted re-heated, not fresh. Food was room temperature and not warm/hot. Not thrilled with the food and probably wont be going back.

Menu has a ton of variety. Customer service was good. 2 managers stopped by to see how we were doing. The first time I went to this one a couple years ago the customer service was awful. The last two times Ive went have been great.

Even on a 20 inch snow day, when everyone else is closed, this place was serving a full menu. My gratitude and respect for all the men and women working here. P.S. they did close after we left as not all staff was there

not the best service...messed up an order of tea and toast...(go figure). The GM did contact me to correct this bad experience by offering a comped meal. Ill give them another try and let you know how it goes!

Great place to stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The service is always excellent! Lots of food choices depending on what you are craving. Plus, take-out service is quick and pick up is always on time.

Ive only just started eating at Perkins, but I was instantly impressed with the staff and the menu; both are consistently good. I have since eaten at other Perkins, but this one remains my favorite.

Had the "Everything Omelette." Was very good. Recommended. The wife had a pork smasher and she enjoyed it. The employees were friendly, the place was clean, and quick service. Worth the stop.
