I just moved to the area and was hoping this weis would be decent like the one where I previously lived. I have some food restrictions due to medical reasons and normally stores keep the "specialty" food clearly labeled on the signs or aisles if not all together in one section. In this store it is randomly scattered throughout the normal food and makes shopping take twice as long just because I cant find things easily. This store also lacks a large variety of organic/grassfed/no antibiotic meat. I try to stay away from meat from "factory farms" and I was extremely limited in what I could pick up. Also when we got to the cashier she didnt even greet us at all and then wasnt bagging a thing. We had to help bag because she just kept throwing the food down the belt after she scanned it. Then the guy pushing carts left a bunch in the middle of the exit that we had to push out of the way just to get out of the store. Dont see myself coming back here ever again.

Deceptive advertising on in store sales. Signs are often confusing. Signs with discounts are conviently not in front of the actual sale item especially in the meat dept. Dont waste your time complaining either, especially if its Brandon the assistant meat manager. He is completely dismissive and has no time for expressing concerns. He will politely let you know your just an idiot for not seeing the small print or the item two shelves below the actual sign! Also check when buying Mark downs. I have had discounts as high as 25.00 not ring through even after the cashier scanned my in store coupons. Even if they scan them and you hear the beeps discounts dont always come off! My recommendation is just look for the smallest print and audit every receipt and never assume the item behind the sign is the sale item! Good Luck.

I dont usually shop at Weis but I was in the area and needed a quick couple things. I was quickly reminded why I dont shop at Weis. They were running lays chips on sale for 1.99 so I picked up a bag. When I got to the register I told the girl I did not have a card but wanted to get one. She sent me to customer service where I was told they dont give them out anymore because they were out of them and that I could not use a store card. So I would have to pay full price for the chips. They were almost $5 a bag regularly. I told the girl that I did not want the chips at regular price when they are selling them For 1.99. She said ok and took them off my order. This might be the worst customer experience ever!

Wise is a great store, been going there since they built the place. Only question I have is why do they put old hamburg on a plate and then surround it with good meat. Looks great when I buy it, but then I get it home, and take it out of the package, and it looks like it is a week or two old. I would rather pay a little bit more than get home, and find that half of the package is no good. This has happened repeatedly, so I dont buy any there anymore. Karns seems to have the best meat now.. sorry about that, but I have learned after being fooled about 20 times. Limited organic produce and very high prices on my items of choice compared to Giant and Target. I went here recently after a long period because I was hoping it had changed (given the new cramped parking lot at Giant and the way-too-long aisles in that new store). Sorry to say, not so much.

weis has some great sales. most of the cashiers are fast and friendly. this location is way less crowded than giant, and they treat you like a human being not a dollar sign.
