Austen Ream

Not so much a beer person but their food choices are great. Very unique and delicious choices ranging from Asian influenced noodle dishes to flat bread pizzas. Despite not really dedicating themselves to a certain style of food they do each one really well. You cant even go wrong with their fries which come with a horseradish mayo that makes a normally boring bar food into something new and addicting. On a non food related note the prices are great and there is more than enough parking. Props to the owner and the chef. Ill definitely be back.

Meh, When you buy a 60$ case you expect it to taste the same every time right? Not here where there is no water purification and the recipes change every batch. It tastes like water straight from the quarry in their back yard YUM. Speaking of the water, most of it must evaporate at the time of bottling because the bottles arent ever filled to the same height. This place is a joke spend your money elsewhere. Also you can tell there spending priorities they buy a half million RV, but no water purification system.

Did not eat there but the beer was great. They do a great job of a lot of different styles. They werent like some breweries where they have a million different IPAs and maybe one other type. They had a great Belgian White and Strong Belgian Dark Ale. One of my favorites though was the Dunkelweizen which is not a common style but is great when done well! Apparently its a one-off so get in there to try it while you can. I had to buy a growler.

Beer isnt anything spectacular at all, food was a half attempt at being gastropub like. Atmosphere was terrible, couldnt decide if it was trying to be down to earth or hip. For being a microbrew there was no open concept with the brewing vats and just looked like a normal bar. Service was incredibly slow and bartenders didnt take the time to discuss their beers, just wanted you to order when they finally came.

We first went to Saucony Creek a couple of weeks after sampling their beer at the Indian Valley Beer Fest a few years ago. Back then it was just a semi refurbished car dealership with a sales space for their prepackaged beer. What a change now! A large gastro pub with an imaginative menu and all of their spectacular beers on tap. The pork belly tacos are a must try!

As another reviewer noted, rude management. Ive never been treated so rudely at a restaurant. His name is Rick and hes the manager and doesnt care if you like anything about your experience. Used to be a car dealership. Nothing to block the wind or cold. Ate with our coats on. Good beer but who cares when you get treated like a bother We wont be back.

The beer is great, the food is unique, too unique for the area they are in.. Like chilled smoked salmon tacos..not a good idea. They could do a lot better if they reduced the menu to a more blue-collar friendly fare, and draw people in to taste the beer..the real reason you are even reading this review. Try the bourbon barrel aged Maple Mistress ;)

We ordered the Korean short rib nachos, Piedmont cheese burger, local mushroom flat bread. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was amazing and the beer was the best we have had in a long time. We will definitely be back, this place it that secret spot you have been looking for.......

Great food. Party of four and we each had something different. Limited menu but no problem finding something, unique entrées. Hot mess cheeseburger was excellent. Wide variety of alcoholic beverages. No problem to come back. Very nice waiter and greeter. 2nd time here.

Food is as unique as their brews! We tried a flight of beers and had a very filling meal just with their appetizers. Will make a point of returning to try the dinner offerings. All food is local and very fresh. Great experience.

Gastropub with interesting and flavorful selection of small batch microbrewed beer. Menu options are similar to what one would find at an urban gastropub, not one tucked away in amish country. Great service, beer and food

Really good beer, the menu was a little pretentious and not well executed. Good cocktails though. If the food hasnt been off, it would have been 5 stars. Also given the location, its pretty darn good.

Gave Saucony Creek a shot since we were in the area. Im not a big craft beer drinker, but I did enjoy the Maple Mistress and the Frecon Farms - BRIX Cider! If youre driving by, check the place out!!

Had a Groupon for flights and an appetizer which was an awesome deal, and how I even became aware of this place. Was quite crowded when we arrived. Pierogie fries were good. Will come again.

WhIle the beer was excellent! The bartender and certain patrons (friends of the bartender) were not happy people. The waitresses were nice but the rude bartender and patrons ruined it.
