I eat here fairly frequently, the staff is almost always friendly and helpful and I enjoy most of the dishes. Ive been here so many times that I know that things are not always 100% but as someone who eats out 7 different places a week I know EVERY restaurant makes mistakes and that this restaurant tries hard not to. If you go I can almost guarantee you will have an excellent casual dining experience, especially on off days like Monday when you have more personal attention. I consider it a great deal for the relatively low prices. If you go frequently enough they will take the time to get to know you. One downside is sometimes they get almost too busy for their space so on special occasions be sure to make reservations. I did see a review about things being dirty, but Im generally fairly picky and didnt think it was too bad compared to a normal KOP restaurant but they have done some very recent renovations and touched things up a bit more. As a note I normally eat sushi and not things from the kitchen. I would definitely recommend it as a place to eat so go enjoy yourself. Also it is BYOB.

I ate at Kabuki this past weekend and had the worst sushi experience in my whole life. I eat sushi regularly and have been to many sushi restaurants and this was by far the worst. First of all, the restaurant was not very clean...the menus were all discolored and the white window shades were all stained and ripped and it was very unattractive and unappetizing. I had the miso soup which had no flavor and just tasted like warm water with only a couple pieces of tofu floating in it. The dumplings were burned. And the sushi made me almost throw up on the table. The fish was not fresh. The rice was not fresh. We had ordered 4 rolls, ate two pieces and then threw the rest out. I will never go there again and i do not recommend this place to anyone.

The husband and I were craving sushi so we decided to come to Kabuki since it was one of the higher rated sushi restaurants in the area. The location is a little awkward, house like structure located among other homes turned businesses. Parking and entrance are in the rear. Inside it is nice and open unless you get seated in the side room like we did. We felt like we were in time out and not allowed to hang out with the others in the nicer area. Although, this room would be nice for a large private party. Sushi was a hit or miss. Would definitely recommend the sushi pizza. Service was great.

Wish I can give any lower star than 1. The service was not up to the expectations and no option to alter the preparation to suit the preferences. We were yelled at when we tried to change one of ordered items just 1 minute after ordering. Sushi did not taste very fresh, I wish the quality was better. We read and believed in 99 reviews and I feed sad to write this review and make it 100th review and not so great one. I wish I had anything good about this place to talk about. hhmmm may be the guava candy which we got with the check.

Excellent sushi, sashimi and service with a smile ! Ive been a regular customer for a couple of years and the basics remain perfectly intact. From the moment of arrival, the staff is very courteous, attentive but never intrusive. The menu is extensive and well laid out. Bring your own bottle and they will have it served properly by your side (if its a cold wine or sake) or stored in the kitchen and properly heated. The quality of the sushi is outstanding. Presentation and service is superior. Highly recommended.

Absolutely the best. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. Their standard menu has been updated in the last year (early 2015 I think), but they usually have some new and different off-menu items on the board as well. The decor also got a freshening-up this year. Whenever I go for a sit-down meal there, even if it is almost full, it still feels peaceful - the staff are all so calm and efficient, you never feel like you need to compete with everyone else for their attention.

From the outside, it looks like a slightly run down house. Once you get inside it just looks like a quaint little restaurant, nothing special there. But then you get their massive menu and start to get interested. Once your food comes out and you see the size of their portions and the presentation, you get excited. Then you taste the food and realize the great choice you made giving this tiny place a chance. Great food, good prices and a quiet atmosphere mean a great time.

Kabuki is a great value for super fresh sushi. You will never want to buy it at the grocery store again. They have really great lunch specials and the staff is very attentive. We love it because if you go with someone who doesnt enjoy raw fish there are so many options, including hibachi shrimp, chicken, steak, sweet potato rolls, spicy vegetable rolls, etc... try it out, you wont be disappointed! We only gave it 4 stars because they could update the decor a little :(

Kabuki is a nice sushi place for being located outside of the city. It looks like a home and can easily be missed if not for its bright sign off of Rt. 202. I order a few rolls and the bbq squid. The sushi was satisfactory. The freshness is a hit or miss, but never bad. The squid was done perfectly which is great because many places tend to overcook squid, making it chewy. On a previous occasion, I ordered the Yaki Udon, which was very good.

Very friendly and clean. And the prices are amazing as well as the taste! I usually get their lunch combo. You get a soup, salad, with either 2 rolls of your choice for about $10 bucks, or 3 rolls of your choice. for about $13 bucks. I usually get brown rice which most sushi places dont offer. So that was also a huge +++. Cant beat that! And it taste better than the more expensive sushi places.

Worst restaurant in KOP, the manager was so rude and not at all pleasant. The food taste was horrible. We tried 4 Sushi entrees but none of them were good. I saw that the restaurant had a good rating and decided to go there but I wouldnt even give this place 1 star. Someone has definitely paid people to give this place such ratings, I would never return again to this place!

Ive been eating sushi for 25 years and I often have it 3-4 times per week. Kabuki is one of my all time favorite sushi restaurants. The food is absolutely fantastic for the price. The chefs are fun and creative and they sometimes give us things for free when we order a lot which is appreciated. The wait staff is fun and friendly too and I enjoy talking to them.

My wife and I go here all the time. Its our "go to" place when going out for sushi. The food is always fresh and good. We go there enough that the owner knows us by name. Additionally, if you call ahead, he will order any special fish that you request. There are many places in the King of Prussia/Wayne area, and this is our favorite by far.
