Tres Hermanos taqueria has been open for about 4 years now, it is currently on cameron street, not far from paxton street, and about 2 miles up the road from its old location in steelton. I went and tried the following items: Tacos al pastor (pork) it was 3 soft tacos with onions & green peppers and pork for 4.50 i also had the tacos canitas (beef) same price and then also had the cubanito, with was breaded ham, salami, fried egg, lettuce, tomato, etc. it cost 6.05 all in all it was a pretty good deal. the soft taco option is awesome, you choose 1 meat and then they cook it up for you, right before your eyes. there were decorations from mexico, with mexican and aztec themes. there was a tv playing spanish speaking shows and there were all kinds of advertisments with se hablo espanol on them. there were about 6 or 7 tables and lots of room to walk around. the counter is right when you walk in and just behind it is the kitchen. there was a condiment bar where you could choose from pickles, jalapenos, sour cream, guacamole, & a mix of peppers. there was also a shop in the back that sold all sorts of mexican and latin american groceries, food, household products, fruit, dried peppers, sugar, spanish language dvds & cds, a pretty decent magazine section, clothing, etc. there was a large basket of bananas and avacados in front of the cash register and there was some home made bean soup in a jar near the register. the staff was very friendly and helpful. accepts visa & mastercard. on a side note: i asked for a menu to take home and the cashier didnt give me one and also the pork did have a little bit of fat on it.

Consistently the best Mexican food in the area. Ive had just about everything here, and I can say that it is all delicious. The fact that its attached to a Mexican grocery store adds to the feeling of authenticity. The owner is also very friendly and attentive. Empanadas, enchiladas, burritos, the daily specials, even the homemade chips and salsa are always wonderful. Food is very reasonably priced and filling. I really like that they have a sauce bar for all you who like spicy and savory sauces in addition to the food they have. Ill continue coming here a few times a month for comfort food. :)

The food is rich with flavor and truly authentic. If you want authentic tacos, go here! You walk in and sit yourself, the waiter will come to you once you sit. Overall, the staff is friendly and quick to serve. They will not bring you the bill, you will have to go to the register to pay. They have a small Mexican store in the back. I love going here. The price is good too! Not too expensive!

Today I had the California Style Burrito with carnitas, this is the best meal you can get under $7 in Harrisburg. I say meal because this bad boy eats like a meal...big, juicy, filling. Ask for salsa, guacamole and sour cream, they will hook you up. This happens to be near my work so I will be "forgetting" my packed lunch more often. Its worth the drive though if its out of your way.

Who knew it took driving to Harrisburg, PA to find some of the best Mexican flavors this side of the border. The burrito al pastor was uniquely crispy and flavorful while remaining tender. The pico was fresh, the chimichanga, light, fluffy and deep fried. The refried beans tasted homemade. This is the epitome of hole in wall, authentic Mexican food. Worth the ninety minute drive.

I loveeeeee going to Tres Hermanos! I have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in Harrisburg and this is the only place where i can order my Chile Rellenos and actually enjoy the food. Everywhere else they are way to spicy for me to even enjoy it but in Tres Hermanos they are PERFECT! The service is incredible they are always so friendly and attending....LOVE IT!

Excellent food at an affordable price. I really enjoy restaurants that are attached to markets. Unfortunately, the market is located in the back of the store in this case, so people who are there to shop come in and walk around those who are seated to eat. It looks thrown together, but the food and service are well above average.

Simply my favorite Mexican restaurant. They make excellent quality food, but make it mild enough to appeal to anyones taste. Its still very flavorful, and they have a bar of seasonings, sauces, pico de gallo, etc., where you can adjust your food based on your individual taste.

Greasy! Yuck! Just oily greasy with a taste of lar! If you dont care about your arteries, then this the perfect place to start a slow suicide! Beside groceries are overpriced! They charge triple from groceries you might buy half the price in other mexican groceries!

Awesome tacos. Outstanding salsas. They even have Sidral Mundet. The whole menu is excellent. I think it is the best in the Capital Region. The taco truck up on Market St is awesome too, but theyre seasonal. So get your tacos al pastor anytime at Tres Hermanos.

The food was just Ok, not as great as people said here. I ate the best Mexican food in memphis. The taste was completely deferent and much better than this restaurant. So in compare with that, the maximum score of this restaurant is not more than 2 stars!

Great food, friendly people. The restaurant is tucked away and unless someone takes you there, you may not know this gem exists. The food is really good and the portions are just right. The restaurant includes a small bakery and shop.
