We happened to be in Franconia around dinner time and this was the closest Chinese restaurant, according to the GPS. We didnt know what to expect from a Chinese restaurant in a tiny strip mall at the edge of a town that is almost the last outpost before the countryside. Surprisingly, Country Garden is rather good. Service was more than gracious. The lady who took our orders checked on us now and then and brought water refills. The menu seemed a bit small by Chinese restaurant standards but I thought the General Tsos chicken was pretty good. (Ive had better but not in this region.) I wish theyd told us about the Thai specials that werent in the menu though. Id have tried the panang curry instead. Maybe next time! The restaurant itself seems generally clean and in good repair. One oddity I noticed was how small and cramped the restroom was. Getting in and out was almost like a game of Tetris or Sokoban. You have to stand a certain way to open the restroom door without blocking yourself.

Honestly the man was pretty rude when I walked in to pick up my order and ordered beef in garlic and come pao shrimp was honestly very disappointed basically 3/4th vegetables and 1/4 the actual meat we ordered all in all a let down will not ever order from this place again

Chow mein has no noodles and no flavor. Im not sure what the filling was in the vegetable dumplings other than not vegetables. The dough was thick and gross. The Generals Tsao chicken sat in a watery base and had zero peppers. We will not order from here again.

The food here was really good. The sensational chicken here is the best thing I ever tasted and no other restaurants have it. Sensational chicken are pieces of fried chicken coated in a sweet orange sauce- if you go here, you should totally try it.

Its a nice little chinese restaurant tucked away. The food is very good, crisp and fresh. The employees were also very personable and enjoyed interacting with my young child which was nice.

Best Chinese food in the area and there are around 10 other places within a 5 mile radius. Eat-in or take-out, you cant go wrong! Been coming here for years. Id leave 10 stars if I could.
