Wow , where to start? The service was lazy. We had to wait 45 min for my wife, daughter and I to get our food. Then, we had to wait another 10 min for my sons food. When we asked to see the manager, our waitress told him, but he made no effort to show up. When we asked for the bill, we had to wait 10 min untill we had to go up for our credit card. My daughters hamburger was burnt, my wifes chicken salad was cold, and it was obvious that it was grilled before we ordered it. All in all, there was terrible service, disgusting food, and the WORST diner in the history of the world. (ok my son did help with writing some of this). We actually saw the previous rating and joked about on the way over from the same hotel. We went to Dennys, which was in walking distance, the previous night and that was (and I am actually sick saying this) better. One more point, someone I talked to in the hotel lobby had seen us and told us that the same place had switched out vegetables as part of the dinner. The response was "whats the problem?".

Went with my husband for an early dinner in Sunday night. We made our reservation on the day of as we were flying to New York and had no problem getting a table for two at 6:30 for Sunday evening. We requested to be seated at the communal table, its the table from sex and the city where Carrie and mr big had their engagement party. The cocktails were delicious and strong. I had the spicy one. Dim sum sampler is a great way to try different appies. Perfect for sharing between two people. My favorite appetizer was the edamame dumplings. It is so special and scrumptious. I could have easily eaten a half dozen of those. We shared the cod and vegetarian coconut rice for entree. They were both delicious and went really nicely with our sake.

Very disappointed in my familys experience here. Started off with a call to the restaurant asking if they were open because their "OPEN" sign wasnt on, a woman answered the phone with a very snotty response. It didnt take us long to get seated, but it was also just us and another man by himself at the restaurant. We got our appetizer 5-10 minutes before our food came. Me, my sister, and my mom all got a Philly Cheese Steak and none of us liked it. The only way I could eat it was by drowning it in ranch. The floors were so sticky it felt like they hadnt been moped in a year. My flip flops stuck to the floor and made a sound anytime I took a step. I would recommend McDonalds before I recommend this, and I hate McDonalds!!!!

This isnt the first time Ive ate there and had problems the bacon is disgusting the muffin is like a soft ball hard I saw PHILLY DINER, this place shouldent be aloud to be associated with the great city of Philadelphia nor is it anything close to a Diner! So DISSAPOINTING theres acouple older helpful employees but every young waitress has attitude and so clearly doesnt want to be there! This diner ruined my night dont let them ruin yours

This is one of the most horrible diners I have ever visited...people working there only looking to get tips without proper service...the food is also horrible...i ordered steak and eggs and asked that my steak be cooked just medium with seasoning...i received a well done steak that was probably an year old steak with a glob of Cajun seasoning on top...and they charged me 16.99 for that plus coffee....i couldnt finish it...it was like chewing on leather, so I left it...heres my tip for them...get the steak done right next time...we are paying for this...you are not giving this to us for free...ok...dont waste your time going here...its horrible.

Avoid this unpleasant experience at all costs; go hungry if you must. We ordered three fairly different items. A Reuben, a Philly Dinner steak sandwich, and a club sandwich. The fries were served limpy and raw. The bacon on the club was burnt and fatty. The corned beef was burnt, tough, and had an offensive aftertaste. The onion rings are minced onions, and well past golden brown. The steak sandwich was passable, but by no means enjoyable. The highlights included the water, the coleslaw, and the pickle spears. The table next to us was equally disappointed with their breakfast selections. The waitress kept making excuses for the soggy waffles.

I really dont like to leave poor a review but people need to know about the food quality. Fist of all my waitress was attentive and nice. I ordered th 1/2 stuff baked chicken. The sides were fresh and good. However the chicken actually smelled spoiled. It was obviously old and dryer out. The cook must of known this but still served it. I dont think its safe to eat this cooks food his decision making is not in the best. They did offer to make me something else but I cant take the risk of getting sick. If you do eat here I would inspect the food before you eat it. I wish I could post a picture I took of this chicken

Very disappointed. I was there @dinnertime (early bird) and they were out of everything. My partner ordered roast turkey with "giblet gravy" which was served with orange goo that someone threw together. Most of what we had was inedible and the stuffing was spoiled rotten, ughhh. I complained over and over about the lack of food and poor quality, but the server never tried to make things better, nor offer any solurions to this awful eating experience. I am a Philadelphian and have dined in the finest diners there. Now, I cant wait to go back and know I wont be returning to the "Philly Diner"!

IT WAS HORRIBLE. I ORDERED SAUSAGE WELL DONE AND RECIEVED DEEP FRIED SAUSAGE THAT RESEMBLED SLIM JIMS, HARD ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND FILLED WITH GREASE. I SENT THEM BACK WITH THE WAITRESS AND SAID THEY WERE INEDIBLE AND FROM THE KITCHEN THE COOK SCREAMED AT THE YOUNG GIRL "THEY ARE WELL DONE LIKE THEY ASKED" THE POOR WAITRESS WAS HORRIFIED AND I SPOKE TO THE OTHER WAITRESS THAT I WOULD SHOW HIM HOW TO COOK IT CORRECTLY. I AM APPALLED THAT THE COOK TREATED THE WAITRESS IN SUCH A FASHION, THIS DINER HAS LOST MY BUSINESS FOREVER. I THINK DENNYS RIGHT NEXT DOOR IS A BETTER CHOICE.

I was here about a year ago and it looks like people had the same experience I did. We never actually sat down to eat though because the hostess never acknowledged that we walked in. My friend went to the bathroom and came back and neither the hostess nor the waitresses looked in our direction by the door. They said they were busy and would "be right with us" after they were done arguing with some customers at the front desk. Nasty, nasty place!! Needless to say we left and ate Wendys instead. We probably even got some better food by the sound of it!

Donna and I had the worst diner experience Ever, I had Rib-eye steak she had shrimp with tomatoes and scallops. The pasta seems like it was from the can mushy and more like a flour paste, the tomato was dry and hard. My ribeye steak was no where near a ribeye steak I have had in the paste I took a few bites and couldnt swallow. The chicken soup and beef barley was very very salty, the ravioli seems like it was from the can and just thrown in the microwave. Our dinning experience was on July 14th.
