Stopped here for lunch on the way to Pittsburgh and was greeted by what looked like the manager on the Saturday of the Labour Day long weekend and I would say that it was worth the stop based on what we had. Food: we ordered the half sandwich and half salad combos which were $10 each with your choice of sandwich and salad off the menu. We ordered the C9 chef salad, peach tree salad, meatball sub sandwich and the lamb bacon sandwich. I thought they were all good, the peaches in the peach tree salad were really good (although there was very little salad in it) and I really enjoyed the lamb bacon sandwich although it was a bit salty. The portions were a bit lop-sided since the salad was fairly large, but the sandwich was a bit on the small/average size. Service: no issues here, although that is because we were the only customers there the entire time. Seating: lots of seats and tables available both inside and out. Price: coming from Canada, $10 for sandwich/salad combo is a pretty good deal especially since the portions are larger than ours as well. I thought it was good value for your money. Conclusion: Id come back if I was in the area and if asked, I would have no problem suggesting this restaurant. Visited September 2015

Ive been dying to try Cloud 9 for months now and today it finally happened. Everything was good, but I think I hyped it up for myself more than I needed to. We were lucky enough to arrive during happy hour (4-6) so I was able to have two glasses of wine for the price of one and a half price appetizer. I had a sweet, red wine that was on draft and it was very good. For an appetizer we had Alfredo and bacon macaroni and cheese. It was very good, especially once it cooled. It was a little runny, but again, once it cooled it thickened up. For an entree I had the Chicken a la Crème. The chicken was very moist but also rather plain. It was covered in some type of brown sauce with mushrooms in it. I am a huge mushroom fan and I felt like their could have been more. It came served atop mashed potatoes and the seasonal vegetable, asparagus, and again: rather plain. However, the portion size was generous; I ended up bringing half of it home. My favorite part of the whole meal was dessert. I was very full from what I had already eaten, but I wanted to treat myself so I ordered the mini creme brûlée. It was fantastic and the perfect size. Overall, I had a good experience at Cloud 9, but I wasnt as fulfilled as I expected to be.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Ive been here twice in the last six months. I got the same bacon cheddar burger each time. Its ok,i guess. The problem is that there is no spice, and no flavor to the meat. It tastes like a frozen patty that has been char grilled. The fries are okay, but youll get just not quite enough Ketchup in the little cup they give you. Apparently Ketchup is too expensive. Make sure you specify if you want Condiments on your sandwich because there are none on the table except salt and pepper. So thats the critical part of my review. Now for the positive stuff. 1st, parking is easy. Theres an adjacent parking garage (pay) that mitigates looking for a spot on the street, and weather. Cloud 9 has an entrance inside the garage. Its really nice inside. Kind of a dark swanky feel. The beer and wine selection add to the overall pleasant vibe with views of the city streets. The menu, while not huge, offers a wide range of dishes. Burgers, sandwiches, tacos, tapas, in house made Pizzas- which look awesome-, some seafood stuff that I dont care for but whatever.... Summary: 3 stars for burgers, plus one for atmosphere, plus 1/2 for menu. 4.5 out of 5 total.

We had a large group that was meeting for some drinks and appetizers prior to another event. Cloud 9 graciously set aside a group of tables for us to use. The server was attentive to our group despite may arriving at different times, and placing orders of differing complexities. The charcuterie board is definitely not a beginners board. The cured duck breast was a flavor explosion and the pickles and coarse mustard were a perfect accompaniment. Now let me tell you about the white cheddar mac-n-cheese with bacon and topped with a fried egg. This was the perfect bowl. The macaroni was tender. The cheese sauce was not broken or floury. The fried egg was perfectly over easy. My wife ordered this and I think 4 more people ordered it as well once they saw my wifes bowl. We will be back, just for the mac-n-cheese.

My cocktail was delicious and even though the service was quite slow I will be going back again. My friend got the classic poutine and it was really tasty (I completely recommend those)! I, however, ordered the lamb meatballs. The meatballs didnt have much taste and the texture felt as though they used too much filler (maybe breadcrumbs?). The flavor of the sauce did not compliment the little flavor the meatballs did have and I found myself just taking all of the sauce off and eating the meatballs plain.

Good selection of drinks. Lighting is awful. Cuisine is decent. UPDATE (per owner response): We asked about the lighting literally three times. Was hoping to have it turned lower, but our request went unanswered (even from a manager). After 9pm consider turning the lights to 20-30% and people will stay longer + buy more (a lot more) booze. Its almost guaranteed! Nevertheless, I like your place and food is pretty good. Wishing the lobster poutine & pizza with an egg would come back.

The foods good, I especially enjoyed the take out boxes. Probably because thats what my family now has to live in due to these prices being so damn high. I am a working man so I have some money but when it came time to decided to send my son to college or to eat here it was a no-brainer. Lets just say little jimmy enjoyed his meal, probably because it was his last one. We cant afford health care due to these prices either. 5 stars for the service though....

Im a big fan of this place although I miss the old menu. They used to have such a great range of things, from one of the best hot dogs Ive ever had to delicious entrees you would expect to find at a much fancier restaurant. Love that they have poutine, but the new pork belly one is super salty while the BBQ one is overly sweet. I generally stick to the appetizers, pizza, and desserts. Those have never disappointed! Also great happy hour specials!

Had a great experience here. We cant with a party of 10. The server (James) was great and very professional. The restaurant manager was personable and food a great job making us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. The food was really good, the desserts were not my favorite but perhaps I just picked the wrong desserts. Environment was great. The price was a little high for some items but not bad for others. We would certainly come here again.

This was a great restaurant for medium priced food. The quality of ingredients is top notch when compared to other restaurants in PA. The brunch buffet on Sunday looked amazing, however they let us order off menu earlier because we had breakfast earlier. We had a bad experience at a restaurant the night before, and I had to make up for it to my family when we went to Cloud 9 Wine Bar and it delivered!! Awesome place!
