Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!! I had steak topped with onion rings. Sides were green beans and a baked potato. About an hour after leaving dinner I was throwing up!! Early the next morning horrible diarrhea. The throwing up came back. This being the day after I ate it Im still sick. Hasnt been 24 yet. This is most definitely food poising. I called the restaurant to complain. Theres no corporate number. The lady who answered the phone asked for my name and number assuring the owner would call me. Has not happened yet. As for the staff- my waitress was very nice and did her job well. As for the man- Im assuming manager he was dressed in business clothing obviously had something against my boyfriend and I. We are an interracial couple- Im not sure if that was the issue or what but there was many couples in the business last night besides us an he only seemed to be watching us every moment he had. I witnessed him handle cash at the register, scratch his face an than go in the back and handle food. I never saw him wash his hands. And if he happen to do it when he went to the back he couldnt had possibly done it because it would not had been enough time. I strongly do NOT recommend this restaurant unless you want to be sick!!!!! UPDATE- I did get contacted by the owner and he handled the situation. He apologized for me being sick. He did offer a refund which I did appreciate. I do strongly believe I got sick off the food. However I think it was just my luck of the drawl being that it seems to be a busy restaurant. I recommend the business just because it seems to be busy. I wont be returning just for the fear of being sick.

This was one of the worst experiences ever. I was visiting family in the area and decided to treat them to lunch. Our order consisted of two bison burgers with fries along with Swedish meatballs with a side of carrots/peas mixed and seafood bisque. The bison burger was. Well. Was that even bison? It was no larger (or more desirable) than a frozen patty from McDonalds. The fries were just like the ones I made at home last night in my oven. The seafood bisque was ok. It wasnt really seafood bisque except for the part that they probably used cream of shrimp soup to make it. The Swedish meatballs were more like frozen meatballs with lackluster gravy over top overcooked mushy noodles. Im not sure how the carrot/pea mix was because it never actually came. The server, while relatively pleasant did make it a point to complain to us about being the only waitress working. With only three tables filled, I thought she could handle it though. She also just sort of laughed it off when one of my guests told her how awful the food was. Overall, bad experience. I paid $37 with tip for something I likely could have had from the Burger King across the street for under $15. I definitely wont be returning to this establishment.

Probably the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Ordered the 3/4Ib hamburger for almost $8. What I recieved was a cheap, frozen looking patty that you buy from any grocery store. Had absolutely no taste, french fries were over cooked, and the fruit cobbler was absolutely horrendous. $4 for a cold, mushie, expired tasting cobbler. I paid $17.50 (w/ tip) for absolutely the worst food I have ever had. The owner seems to not care about his restaurant.

Breakfast is good, standard diner breakfast. Dinner is typically not great. The last two visits have been far apart and both disappointing. I ordered a stuffed chicken breast that came out cold on the inside, the peas were not entirely cooked through. My husband ordered a sirloin and it was not prepared to order. The wait staff is kind and sufficient but they are not able to make up for the questionable food.

The food is delicious. The price is fabulous. My one pet peeve about Evergreen: every time I go there, I see the waitresses wrapping the silverware in paper napkins. They grab the silverware on the part that I put in my mouth. ..just gross! Ive seen them fix their hair and grab the silverware. Ive also seen them sneeze/cough in their hands THEN grab the silverware to wrap. It turns my stomach!

My husband ordered garlic bread with his dinner, it was small dinner rolls toasted with garlic butter. I got a gyro, they put it in a tortilla instead of a pita. I understand if they run out of something but, they are literally in the same parking lot as Weis Market, go get some until your delivery comes. No excuse for poor food construction.

I thought I would try in an the steak was not really a NY steak I took one bite an couldnt eat it i put it at the end of the table an tried my filling cold an horrible the server didnt even ask why we didnt eat the food or if everything was ok she didnt check on us or fill our drinks I will never eat there again.

Very disappointed. I normally love diners. Dont waste your time here. I ordered the special (stuffed chicken breast). It came out barely warm and covered in salty neon yellow gravy. I should have turned around when I saw the nearly empty dining room.

Good solid diner faire. Not much to write home about, but better than grabbing fast food. It was inexpensive and filling. Lost some points for being a diner without a salad bar, though.
