About 12 years ago, my Aunt bought two cakes from Bakers of Buffington for my sisters engagement party. When it came time for my wedding, I happened to be getting married in Lancaster, PA and my sister said I had to use Bakers of Buffington. We didnt even go in for samples. We wanted a really simple two layered wedding cake, buttercream frosting, vanilla cake. They were so flexible in helping us achieve what we wanted for our wedding, which was our two layered cake and sheet cakes. The cake was amazing. They have kept their standards up for over a decade and I wish I lived closer so I could get cakes from them for every special occasion! We loved working with them and my husband, who is not into sweets, loved the cake. We ate left overs for a few days it was that good! This bakery is amazing!

The absolute best cake that I have ever eaten in my life. Went here for our wedding cake and now get all special occasion cakes here too for birthdays and the like. They only accept cash or check. Limited free parking options. A metered lot is available across the street. Cake is always top quality and they do incredible decorating. Must order everything in advance - they dont have things on display ready to sell in store other than a couple cake pops. Quick turn around time most times - only a few days notice required. Cant recommend enough - you wont be disappointed! Much better quality and taste than Master Bakers.

This place is the greatest!! They did our Wedding Cake going off of my description of what I wanted it to look like, and they nailed it! It was perfect, way better than the picture I had in my head of how it would look! It tasted fantastic! I had been to many other bakeries in my local area, with no success. I cant say enough about how extremely pleased I was with this bakery! There prices are very very reasonable also!! Cant wait to pick up our 1 Year Anniversary cake this weekend!! I would highly recommend this bakery to anyone for any occasion!!

I love this place. I grew up in the area and now live in Washington, DC. I come home a couple times a year for Bdays, holidays, etc. and always look for an opportunity to "have to" get something from this bakery. In an age where quality getting baked goods is becoming less and less realistic, Buffington proves that there are still some quality places out there. I even had a birthday cake transported to Washington, DC recently since we dont any equivalent in the area. Things not only taste great but they are wonderful with design as well.

I have gotten birthday cakes here for as long as my children have had birthday parties. While they are more money than the grocery store cakes, they far surpass and are totally worth the money. Their cake is the furthest thing from dry. They even go above and beyond to decorate it despite giving small details. The only downfall, which they may have changed was that they didnt take debit or credit cards. I like the cake so much that I dont care too much about that.

The Birthday cake that we chose out of their book was wrong when I went to pick it up, they said they could probably fix it, but we opted not to. The cake was frozen, the pies were ok, but the cheesecake was terrible. Maybe it was that they were busy at Thanksgiving, BUT this was my Daughters sweet 16 and our Thanksgiving desserts. I will never go back.

I have been ordering my birthday cake from here since I moved in 1997. The last cake I had was so overbaked that the outside 1/2" was crunchy! I returned it, and the owner didnt even come out from the back to apologize! He just told the front girl to give me money back. Terrible customer service, I will never go back, nor would I recommend.

Not too happy, second experience with wrong flavor cake and the customer service wasnt that helpful with creativity. I felt rushed and no very welcomed. Maybe they were very busy which probably is why I got the wrong flavor. The cake was moist and tasted very good but it wasnt what I ordered and I did not enjoy ordering it with the salesperson.

Very dense, dry cake. The icing was WAY too sweet, so much so that my little girl refused to eat it! Its pretty bad when a kid doesnt want cake, dont ya think? Anyways, the cake was WAY over priced, & I dont ever intend on going back! Seriously guys, youd get better quality from a grocery store!

I have ordered cake from this bakery before and delighted. This time the cake was a bit over baked, dry and the frosting was so sweet I could hardly eat it. I asked for no flowers and the whole half cake was covered with large flowers that are too sweet to eat. I no longer trust this bakery.

We love the bakers of buffo tonso cakes. Birthdays, wedding showers any excuse to have an awesome cake! We had them design a fun groundhog cake which is now going to be an annual tradition. Staff is great they are fun to deal with, creative and focused on the details.

Ordered two dozen cupcakes with "light blue/baby blue icing" for a baby shower. Just picked up the cupcakes - the day of the shower - and they are not remotely blue but rather look like a light mint green. Not happy at all right now and do not even want to serve these.

This place makes beautiful, delicious cakes to order at very competitive prices. Perfect for birthdays, parties and other special occasions. Order at least 24 hours in advance to make sure you get your cake on time. Parking is limited, unless you dont mind walking.

Insane good, its like you went to heave and ate the best cake ever. Im not even an icing fan and their icing is amazing. The cake is so moist. If I had to figure out a negative its the cost, but after you have it, youll see why and its worth it.

My first experience with Bakers of Buffington was the cake for my baby shower. It was the most amazing cake Ive had. Ive now used them for my childrens baptisms and birthdays. Its a bit of a drive for us, but well worth it.

Love this place! The chocolate cupcakes were excellent and the pound cake is wonderful! I would recommend this for any event, even just to stop in and pick up a cupcake for a personal treat!
