10/10/15 Rustic Wedding Day! Hidden gem in West Chester, PA! My husband and I were so happy with our ceremony and reception at Northbrook! The venue is really cute - the website pics dont do it justice - highly suggest you go check it out in person (and get all the apple cider donuts you can carry)! It was perfect for the style & size of the wedding we wanted (rustic/100 guests). The food was fantastic - we got rave reviews from our guests about the dinner (we went with the bbq buffet - the have more "traditional" wedding dinner options too) I didnt get a chance to try the appetizers since we were having our photos done, but judging by the fact that there was nothing left by the time we got done with our pics, I have to assume that they were also awesome! The Chefs Table rehearsal dinner was an incredible meal as well! We felt that the price was very reasonable for what we received. My only suggestion for improvement would be the correspondence. The communication can get a bit spotty with the coordinator- everyone is friendly and easy to talk to, but it seems that emails only get get checked every few days. Everything else went off without a hitch! Would be happy to refer other couples to this venue!

Love this place! Have been going for years and I have always found everyone pleasant and helpful. Food always good and fresh, take -away soups are great, bakery items, first rate. I have food allergies and they always go out of their way to check ingredients and reassure safety for me. The apple cider donuts are legendary of course, and I love when we have house guests, it is an excuse for a special treat. Guests absolutely devour them in delight, especially when we pick them up early and they are still warm. Havent tried brunch, but will. We are looking forward to a pasta night on a Thursday night at some point soon. Will take note of service, but Id be very surprised if not up to par.

excellent Sunday brunch spot and marketplace. Yes, I agree with some of the other reviewers that service could be a little better and the serving area was a little crammed, but the food was excellent and the coffee was even better (locally roasted beans). Menu of what they had: - oatmeal station - bacon/sausage - apple cider doughnut french toast - cheese stuffed crepes - eggs and eggs benedict - pork bbq sliders with slaw - few different cold salads like pasta, couscous and kale salad - bagels and croissants - mac and cheese - green beans - two different kinds of breaded chicken - prime rib - dessert table

I go to the Market and bake shop regularly and they are great so I decided to try the Sunday brunch with a Groupon deal. The Brunch was very disappointing. First of all the hostess was miserable and rude. The brunch buffet food was sub-par and nothing special at all. Even the desserts seemed like they were store bought and not from the bakery located below? I will not go back for the brunch or recommend it to anyone. Full price for brunch is $15, not worth it at half the price I paid on Groupon. Stick to the market and avoid the Brunch!

We had the Sunday brunch. The food was great but the service was just disappointing. The hostess was very rude, and it seemed as if we were too much trouble for her to seat. She even sighed when we gave her the money at the end, as if it were too much trouble to count it. Also, our 10 year old was charged for the price of an adult, even though the website says adults are counted as 12 and older. All in all, the experience was ruined by her utter rudeness towards our family. The food is still good though, so it might be worth it for that...

Recently visited the Marketplace for a family party. The facility has a market on the first floor and a restaurant/catering space on the second floor. The spread was nice, options for both breakfast and lunch. The smoked brisket was really good. My only concern was the flooring on the 2nd floor. They used barn boards for flooring which made for some uneven steps for my older mother and my wife in her high heeled shoes(she almost went down several times on missteps on the boards). All in all a fun time with some really good food.

We had 20 people for a Sunday brunch. Food was good, but a little slow to re-fill the buffet. Service was slow, we had to clear our own plates most of the time. They came around once to clear the table (which was 5 plates), Watch out for the "Buffet extra service charge". There was no service and they expect you to pay 20% for the bus-boys to clean the table once we left. That is crazy for a party of 20 when we did 90% of the work.

I held my sisters surprise party at Northbrook and was very happy with everything from the room - great long table for everyone to sit at, the service were great, I hardly had to do anything, Joe, our server anticipated our every need! The food was very good, a nice selection - Christine worked with what I wanted. A bonus for those with little ones, there was a little nook with toys for the grandkids to play with - just perfect!

We always stay in Philadelphia for the Thanksgiving parade and then hustle somewhere to crash someones dinner but this year we had Northbrook do all of the cooking. GREAT idea! Picked it up by 2 and went home to no fuss, no dirty pans, just set the table with our china and had family and friends. Everything was excellent.! It is a new family tradition. No guilt--just gluttony:-)

Its good food, decent prices. The important thing is the quality of the food, and where its from. For example, you can get milk from the neighboring township, and cheese steaks with local beef. Im a little put off by the fact that the workforce is predominantly kids. I have nothing against giving kids jobs, but every time Im there I feel like Im interacting with the new employee.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner for our son and future daughter-in-law recently. Christine made the process so easy for us. The food was delicious, the service was superb and the atmosphere was beautiful. It was the beginning of a wonderful weekend. Thank you!!

Got a rib dinner to take out and eat in the car. Drove away to a park to eat and listen to an audio book only to find the the ribs and mac and cheese were nearly frozen. The cheese sticks being the only hot item had no sauce.

Great local place to grab a bite to eat! They have freshly made sandwiches, fresh baked goods, and apple cider donuts! They also make their own chips WHICH ARE SO GOOD! Definitely a must if visiting the area!

Came here with my children and asked for their homemade chicken fingers and they handed me cold chicken fingers like she just took it out of the fridge. Horrible customer service.

Great casual farm market atmosphere. Prepared foods from deli counter, baked goods and others are excellent. As they advertise, they have the best apple cider donuts.

Great food and local foodstuffs. Prices are a little higher than other places, but then again, the food and desserts they sell here are better than many other places.
