Service is terrible. The food is a hit or a miss. Most of the time its good. The last time I went to Olive Garden, I went with two friends. Our waitress was rude from the start. I passed it off as being lunch hour so she mustve been hungry, or perhaps thats just how she always seems but shes not actually rude. Then it took nearly 30 minutes to get our soups. After we got our soups, we asked for breadsticks and didnt see her again for another 15~20 minutes. We never got more breadsticks. The soup was too oily. We never got refills on our drinks. And at the end, the waitress lent my boyfriend her pen, hovered while he wrote out the tip (which is awkward) took plates away from my friend in a rude manner, and snatched the pen out of my boyfriends hand. I will not be going back. I must be unlucky when I go here :(

My family and I went out to dinner last night at the Olive Garden in Dover. I had the beef tortellini which at first tasted fairly good. I was about half done with my meal when I started to feel a little ill. I ate about one half of the entree and left the rest. The restaurant was not too busy yet it took quite a long time for the server to bring out our food. The texture of the tortellini was very firm and with the beef which was overloaded with sauce was the first indication that this entree had been sitting out to long. I was ill most of the night with lower stomach pains and felt better after I vomited twice. I do not recommend this restaurant.

I walked into this restaurant on 12/1/16 and the guy at the bar kindly directed me to the to go check out. I had 3 to 4 employees walk pass me without addressing and asking me could they help me. It took 5 mins for the waitress to address me and when she did, she said " do you need something" no greeting at all. I have been coming to this Olive Garden for years and keep noticing the decline in there customer service skills. I think that this Restaurant needs to review customer service skills with all there employees. These issues really disappointed me and I and highly upset with there lack of customer service skills.

I love OG, but this one was filthy. There was some funky stench throughout the whole restaurant. I ordered limited chicken marsala raviolli. It was horrible. It was made on an ample amount of soy sauce. Tasted nasty. The raviolli was still cold in the center. This was a really bad experience. My son ordered lobster ravioli and while he was eating he found a fetuccine in his dish which tells me that they use one spoon to dish it up all. The zupa Toscana was good and so were the bread sticks. But thats it. Will NEVER go back to this one. You will be better off to go to Red Lobster right across this OG. No kidding.

This has not been my 1st visit and have never, never had a bad experience with the servers and only one with the food. When I ordered the lasagna, it was just 2 slices of pasta and alot of sauce, even tho it tasted good. I remember saying to my friend that they needed to hire her to teach the chefs how to make lasagne. While in Layton, UT, I wanted to bring the chefs and servers home to Delaware with me. It was perfect there.

It was a Monday night and it was almost completely empty, but the manager told us there was a 20 min wait. We left. The next Momday, after 8 p.m., again, nearly empty..we had to wait 15 for a table then it took our server quite a long time to get the our table & take drink orders. Apparently the manager cuts too many servers too early so the 1 or 2 that are still serving are overwhelmed & cant give good & timely service.

This particular Olive Garden is always great but I chose to go back for my 70th birthday dinner. No mention of this was made to the staff. The service provided by Spring, our server and the gentleman who assisted her was spectacular. The Fried Ravioli is awesome. Everyone loved their food choices. This was a great restaurant. Now it is superb. Thank you ! G. Daniel Cole ☆ Author of Hells Highway. ✏

We did not like out waitress at all. We were on our way home from MD and went out of our way to go to an Olive Garden for whatever reason. Some how all of the tables around us got better attention then us. A family behind us sat down 10 minutes behind us got served before us and were able to leave. All we ordered was soup salad and bread sticks.. I guess they had to grow the lettuce.

Olive Garden is really good, as it always is. You can pretty much expect good food every time. Some things are a little pricey but theres singing for everyone. The service was really good. My mom doesnt eat gluten or dairy and every time it washes refilled our salad she made sure to keep it the stuff my mom cant have and put it on the side for me. I wish I could remember her name.

They were seating people that were coming in after us.after telling the manager that her customer service sucked.we got up and left

There are so many great Italian places in Dover now that I recommend taking the extra five minutes or so and visiting one of the locally owned restaurants. Ive never had a bad experience at this location, but the restaurant doesnt seem as clean as it should be and a lot of the pasta tastes like its been cooked too quickly.

The waitress was very nice. Our food came out quickly. My problem is theyre are many healthy options here. Theres only 4 or 5 and what you get for the price isnt great. I actually went with the intention of getting the buy one take one deal but the options for the meal are very limited and bland, not worth it at all.

The wait was terrible and when I was finally seated I was forced to wait even longer. I Decided to take my 2 daughters out to eat and this will be our last vist. The waiter was very polite and the only reason I end up staying. The host on the other hand she was truely rude and a big reason we will not come back.

This is my go-too place for all you can eat soup, salad and of course bread sticks. We also like their fresh bruschetta and mussels. It is consistantly good comfort food! We like sitting at the bar, and chatting with the bartenders and other guest. Michele from Dover
